@Barareklam thanks for the advice, def faster this way on St. Mary's 👍
You are welcome. Glad I could help.
Your lap is totally out of this world!

@Gomario JSP = 👽

Now I need to chase you again 😁 almost there, but you know... chicane can ruin many blue deltas...

You are on fire this tt mate, that is realy close! Yeah that chicane....... me not like 🤣🤣
Just a matter of time that you are below .444 mate! Go get it! 😁😁😁

Tried both the time trial with the Corvette and the DB5 today, and got both into silver range. But it feels like it's quite hard to get near gold range, as I think I'm about 4.51% off the top for the Corvette time trial, and about 4.22% off for the one with the DB5.

EDIT: That said, both cars do feel pretty fun to drive for different reasons.

I agree. I actually thought they both looked easy but oh my gosh, there is no easy one this time round.

I found the DB5 easier than the Vette but when I say easier I mean more fun and the most infuriating thing for a while

Nope

5 is ideal and most realistic. For this TT I just go for 540 on the Fanatec settings, that's the only way I can slide and catch this boat around in time.

I dunno man but I dont feel any effect 😅 whether its -2 or 10 im on TGT and the video is wrong about force feedback sensitivity, lower means more feeling and less damping

I'm 100% sure this video is a bunch of nonsense, it gets things that are verifiable 100% wrong so I have no reason to believe it when it says a controller setting affects a wheel.

After another 180 miles around Laguna Seca, I am FINALLY in gold with a 1:31.353. I’m ok if I never see this car again… For some reason I found this super hard to get consistent and stitch the whole lap together. Given that I’m 0.24 under the benchmark I’m hopeful that this will hold. Couldn’t get under 1:32 for the longest time today, but then all of a sudden ran two gold laps in a row!

Still 0.001 off gold at RBR, but I REALLY want to try the Aston Martin, so I’m off to Goodwood. Crack on!

Man, I'm having a time on Laguna, I keeo getting between 1'36.000 and 1'38'000. My best optimal time so far is a 1'36.446. I managed to use a couple tricks at the end. I'm gonna post a video in a few minutes and show you what I mean. I'm almost at the bronze time at Goodwood, 1'31.652 I think, I'll have to look, the car isn't that bad but I have to use extreme caution on that last chicane before the finish line. Otherwise the lap will be messed up.

Controller sensitivity affect wheel? 🤔🤔🤔 isnt that for pad only?
You only notice a difference If you use high feedback (10/10) like I do. You can definitely feel the feedback delivery changes as you increase the sensitivity, it feels more tight and rigid, whereas -2 feels more loose.

Maybe you could say, that -2 is line a blank canvas, you need to do alot of wheel work to make it fast, whereas sensitivity 10 does the work for you, but you lose out in precision.

Low 1:24 starts flirting with me....😁
Fast!, i did a run this morning but it was to early to concentrate that hard
had an OPT of 24.5 or something so went back to the redbull ring to collect some invalid laps....
( i golded it when it started but never looked back again......, still 2.2% i believe but way down on the leaderboard with a 29.9 )

But it was just not there, didn't hit anything, but you should fight for a sub 24 mate!,

The ghost of TheNormsk managed to pull me into silver territory at Laguna Seca. Sorry about the extra miles. I owe you a new set of tyres... @P-Courty: I see you but can't catch you. Maybe next time... 😉

I have to talk with Q about the Goodwood thing. My DB5 seems to have traded stabilizers against machines guns and that doesn't help the driving behaviour... There isn't even a secret boost if pressing the overtake-button. Silver is far out of reach for me this time. It is even worse than Bathurst for me despite golding the CE at Goodwood.

For RBR I would be happy about some ghost laps, especially by my approved favourite instructors like Saargasm and GlockPants... Maybe there lies still some gold for me.

Have a nice day!

They are just not. Look carefully, the difference between -2, 5 and 10 is clearly visible, just look at the way the front wheels behave.

I did a fair amount of testing the last time this came up. I found no perceptible difference in lap times at all with the setting at -2 or 10. I'm convinced it's a placebo effect, and I really can't see that the video proves anything.
