1. One lap I was well in front of my best through 3 sectors - roughly a tenth and a half! - only to stuff it up in the final left hander coming out of the tunnel.
I know exactly how this feels! It's such a weird turn on this course being the one you have to most aggressively brake for. It can really upset the rhythm.

My best valid lap today was a 1:21.98x ... I was shaking into the last sector, only to be just a bit too slow through that turn. I thought for sure I was about to beat my PB.

But, I felt that way about about all the turns at some point these two weeks. The tunnel in S3 got me plenty of times too, not necessarily invalidating my lap, but just taking the turns too slowly.

I should’ve tried the Nismo at Tokyo time trial earlier. Jumped in with 20 minutes to go, ended up 5 tenths off silver on my best lap, but somewhere, I brushed the wall - even though, looking back at the footage, I don’t really know where. It must’ve been the slightest of touches. My final classified time was a 1:25.647, the most recent clean lap.

I think I might’ve been losing the most time in the first, third last, and final corner. Elsewhere, I’m not too sure where I could gain too much time. Perhaps the entry to tunnel 1? Not that I’m a perfect driver, just, by my standards, I was driving to my limit for most of the track. Really fun combo though, exhilarating (except for the insta-invalidated lap, lol, but makes sense). Car handles really well, too, lots of grip.

God what a frustrating morning in the snow, in the one hour i tried to hunt for a new PB i had 3 laps where i would have absolutely crushed my PB, but in all 3 cases i stuffed it up at the last chicane, i'm becomming faster, but it has to be valid
The long right hander feels more controllable in 4th gear, so i have won some time there :)

The only thing i have to do is sticking it all together one time :lol:

That GT3 RS around daytona should be a blast on RH's! ,

Look how it looks at me:

Well the reason is because you have been playing "Farming Simulator 22" and then no GT7 screenshots for you :D
Sorry mate, just a joke, I don't know, I can't remember what settings I have done when I installed app but I think I Needed to connect it to PS in order to get screen shots, if I am not mistaken?

EDIT, if you go on controller button on left hand side of screen, down at bottom, then you go on cogwheel on top right hand side of screen, settings, then scroll down a bit until you find console, you connect there, at least mine is connected there. Also you need to go on settings on ps4, account, activate as primary system. :)

Did a handful of laps.
1:47.0 so far but, well it’s very early that’s not saying much of anything.

First impressions:
The Porsche is such a great car and pairs well with the track.

Couple of things I’ve noticed:
  • T1 - as always in Daytona - is a bit iffy but it’s easy enough to keep the car stable.
  • the Porsche feels a tiny bit understeery in tight corners.
  • the car has DRS … so far it’s not too bad but I worry we’ll have another “tape the button down”-TT

Gonna be fun. (I hope) 😁

Took million from Tokyo (my 30th silver) and tried Lake Lois.
1:52.xx for now, it probably won't go much lower.
Porsche is way to go, I know there will be big problems with taking first corner good.

Regarding screenshots, looks like it's PS5 only.
But maybe it will be bought now for BF sale...

Hmm, how? Sophy doesn't yet race on the ring.

If that is NurburgRING 😊
Isn't the quick race thing sophy, or am I mistaken? The new quick race at the far left of all the events added with the update, I mean.

My apologies if not. It was still a super fun race particularly with that car 🍻
