Like @Evilmuffin, I couldn't gain any time at Trial Mountain yesterday. I was very confused by my splits, as well. I would look down at my time after various sectors and wonder where I went wrong even though it felt fast. It took me only 30 some miles to set my best on the first day, yet over 100 miles on day 2 I couldn't even touch my time. What gives?

I wanted to get back to Spa, knowing I had time I could potentially gain. After much frustration, I finally put in a lap that was almost 3 tenths better than my previous best. I don't expect to improve on it. I actually got through Pouhon fairly well for once. I think that helped.

For me this Spa TT is the most frustrating yet…when you think you’ve nailed the perfect corner but the time flashes red again.

Was having the absolute lap of my life but threw it away right at the end, still improved a decent amount but could have easily been a top 50 time, that’s me done anyway!

I wish you all a happy new year!

In the midst of all the stress about the water damage, I was finally able to take some time for the first TT of the year.
A really iconic combination.
I found it quite difficult at first, it took me longer than normal to get into the flow. The Supra is really difficult to control at the exit of corners. For me it was more trial and error than trial mountain...
But I still managed a 1:51.101.
Lap was absolutely not error-free, think a medium to high 1:50 is definitely possible.

I did some laps yesterday at Spa and I had problems with eau rouge ( again ) .
So many red laps and restarts .
If i fail and today ill quit 😵‍💫

I change and steering sensivity but nothing helped.
At least i think my gold is secure so far .

For the trial mountain if i get silver would be nice i don't think i had this for more , even if i didn't try it yet .

Congrats for your Belgium gold, my dear GOD :)
Once again, you're faster than me (not a surprise) and I have no doubt you'll be also faster on Trian Mountain.

I should be away from my PS5 today (Arkea Ultim Challenge is starting today) and I will take this opportunity to think about my strategy and my commitment to the next TTs.

It just happens,am not faster .
Perhaps lower power cars fit me better while you're better on more powerful cars .
At Spa i can't put together my good parts or at least the most of them 😂
Am in intermission right now for coffee and ill try it again, am close or under 2.42.5 , being faster well enough to bust the damn 42's but somehow i manage to loose it every F...lirting time or make a red lap 🤣 .
As about TM never was in my forte and with the new addition of the final sector i have no illusions , silver it will be good.

Have a nice day Daniel Son and all the the guys here , human or not 😂 .
The God community salute you

Phew, driving this Supra is like dancing on the razor's edge - every corner can be your doom, you have to stay focussed constantly. It's a lot of fun though, and also highlights the advantages of my new gear I think, as I have so much more control now in terms of throttle and braking compared to the G29. What helped me as well was setting TC to 1 and ASM on, so if you're struggling with spinning out, you might want to try that.

Currently in gold, but only very narrowly. However, I have improved around 3 tenths every day so far, so if my math is correct, I should end up snatching the world record. Watch this space! ;)

Absolutely insane, I drove my a*'s of for a 51.822, and have no idea were to find that extra time, you are casually 0.7 seconds faster on your "error" lap.... 😳🤣🙏
Well done!

I could not have said it better.

Last stint for me at Spa this morning, trying to adopt a relaxed and philosophical approach. Don't care if lap is invalid, don't care if I lose 0.5s at first turn + 1s in Eau Rouge, just drive and see. Plus doing it in the morning before anything else and not late in the evening as a chore I have to do is better too.

Not a lot of valid laps, but low lap times (for me) and went back into silver zone, and I think I am safe too, that was my goal, done !

Gold is absolutely out of my reach given the time I have and the speed at which my frustration grows while playing.

On to TM where I did less than two laps, spinning out of nowhere just before the last chicane told me that I've had my dose of daily frustration (and the daily workout ticket did not help)

Did a session at TM since Spa is proved very unforgiving for me .
The good part i haven't that much red laps as at Spa ,am on the edge of silver which probably i could safely get in time .
The bad part os that talking for gold at this one touches the meaning of Utopia 🥴

While others searching for " help " to digg deeper for better times,in my case am gonna need something like that for my " digging" purposes

Did around 100km of TM today but no progression, had a few high sub 52's but all in the 9xx so was a bit fed up, then combined the two together and did a few Sophy Spa runs on hard with the Sup 500 😁🤣 was realy fun and a joy after months of only trials 😁🤣🤣

I went back to Spa to try to improve my time, and started to get used to the body roll and flow of the car. You certainly need to make it stable on corner exit before putting the throttle down to get the best out of it.

Started making friends with the bollards and barriers at first so they would be nice to me

Then on lap 5 I went all out, and I mean all out, completely flatout with no lift through Eau Rouge, turned in early at no name turn 11 after the hairpin and nearly took the bollard out but then because I was 1.5sec ahead of my PB I went all reserved into sector 3 as I didn't want to lose it, although still too close for comfort to the bollard at Stavelot, I did lose 0.5sec due to being reserved but now have a safe gold 🥇

Messed up lap 3 completely not sure if you can tell... 😂

Congrats with that!, nice lap, lines along the bollards were tight! Solid lap 👌
Within 2.58% of the fastest of the world 😁😁, nice work!

I've done 7 laps in the Supra now and I'm in silver at the moment.

My game keeps skipping a frame at the start of sector 2 right when I need to change gear and I either have to change before it or after it otherwise I get stuck in the wrong gear 😠

Just exited and will try again, I do like like this one though so time to change the oil and go for gold 😁

Flat through Eau Rouge? Nice... I haven't even attempted it!

That whole section is just screen tearing and drop frames. It's even worse in MP. It's really really really jarring!

I feel your pain. Some TTs are just beyond my skill level to Gold.

I'm currently clinging on to Gold at Spa by the skin of my teeth, but given that it is the circuit I have used the most, I'm still mildly disappointed not to be able to get to within 4s off the top time!

Trail Mountain is done for me, and I'll settle for a silver there. I did, however, get a silver using the controller without too much trouble, and I just made a tiny improvement using the wheel (0.010 s to be exact) after just six laps, but I don't think I can get near a gold without driving myself mad. Unless my 'Optimal' is inside the Gold time, it's not worth pursuing it too hard. At TM, my Optimal is still 0.9s off, so that's a sure-fire sign that I'm done.

Aiming for Gold is a pretty tall order though, so I'm happy to call it a day when I know I've done my best time and enjoyed doing it. As soon as frustration creeps in, it's time to move on for me!
