Don't say that too loudly, you will trigger the GODs 🤣
@smoothbore12 and @Pesselles you just need to put the "L" in GODs gang 😁
I just want to applaud your post for including the track map when discussing corners. Helps a ton since not everyone is a racing savant that can rattle off every Nordschleife corner backwards.I did some more laps yesterday following your comments. Didn't go for the lap, however I had a bit of improvement in my ideal

Turn 7: yes it's definetly better in 3°, it also helps stay in 3° otherwise I brake too much
Turn 16: yes, definetly 3°, even if it's still one of the most misterious one for me. Nailing it is quite difficult.
Turn 12: some sort of some comment than T16, but a bit better.
Turn 3-4-5 is real mistery. I still don't do it twice in the same way and don't understand the track limits of the right hander inside and right hander eixt outside
Turn 11: I still have to measure it. I tent to go wide compromising the handling of the car for T12
I don't see this as easy as Tidgney states, at least for me, but it's still very fun to drive
The mental skills may not degrade with age (or maybe they do), but the physical skills (i.e. ability to move your body parts) most certainly do (at least for me). It takes me about ten minutes with some type of muscle rub to get even close to being able to tackling turns 1/2/3 at the Trial Mountain TT at a reasonable pace. Then again, I am on the high side of 65. YMMVOne of the beautiful things about these TTs is that the skills needed to master them do not really degrade with age. Like, I could never compete in an online shooter because my reflexes just aren't comparable to a teenager (I'm in my forties). But reflexes aren't as important here as much as patience and accuracy.
I hope you both do and don't hit your optimal. For reasons. 😂😂🍻🍻🍻No new PB at TM today. I was very close at Lap 14 but lost the rear end on the very last turn. I pushed on hoping to have another opportunity but it wouldn't materialize.
My optimal lap, however, is looking quite nice.

Unexpected improvement in Germany.
I new a 25 was in me, but I wasn't expecting a 2.24.911
Looking at it I see that I'm not really trailbraking the way I think/feel I am while I the car. There is a huge area to explore there, even though I don't know where to start from
Maybe one day, I'll be a part of the gold gang. But one step at a time. I have a family to take care of and they are my first priority. GT can come second, so I have to curb my time on here. And after several TTs your silver gang becomes the Gold Gang !!!! 🤣🤣🤣

so, when I got to the last chicane seeing my very small PB ghost in the mirror I had that mixture of adrenaline and fear of screwing it up that stiffened my arms 😅Oooh man....that could've been a low 24s or even 23s. Braked a bit too late for turn one and way too late for the hairpin 🫠
For turn one, just hit the brake as soon as you reach the black patch to the left. You can do it half way into the patch but it will be really tight.
For hairpin, as soon as you feel the front left wheel hit the curb on the left...hit the brake. That's your brake reference.
Olala, it is called "un Tour d'or" in your side. That sounds nice! Congrats!So....
Let's talk about the Nurb' GP.
I've started this morning by a training session with the AMG GT3 and it was productive :

After this "little" victory, I've decided to give another GO to the TT with the RX-8. And to maximise the chances to improve my score, I've applied my secret livery to the Mazda (sorry I can't share the details here as some Germans could cheat and copy).
The training and the livery were super efficient - and also the famous @Evilmuffin 's method on the final turn - I've gained more than 0.8 secs on my previous PB:

Now, my new objective is to score 2:24.011 or below. No objection @Wilsonson ?
As usual, the replay - named "Gut but not yet alles gut" - is available in your news feed in game. Let me know if it's helpful @EbrahimX7
And speaking about the people-who-live-on-the-other-side-of-the-Rhein, I found another evidence of their very questionable activities on GT7. Take a look at the Laguna Seca CE 3rd sector leaderboard...
