Why not just use any calculator? Take the time in seconds and multiply by 0.03 to get the maximum deficit or by 1.03 to get the maximum lap time.

Just use a regular calculator.

The current RX-8 gold is 2:19.820. That's 120 seconds plus 19.820, or 139.820. Multiply that in a calculator by 1.03 and you get 144.0146, or 2:24.0146. Naturally you need to be better than that, and GT only goes to the thousandth, so ignore the final digit and that's the time you need to set: 2:24.014.

I only set two valid laps too, although I did 3-4 that I deliberately invalidated on controller first just to see if gold was doable on the wheel

Probably won't do NGP/RX-8 because I hate the track more than I hate a wasp flying into my ear canal.

Hey guys, random question, and apologies if it has been answered before.

When a TT is using BOP and fixed settings, is there any reason or advantage to use a car from your own garage instead of just 'renting' one from the game?

Only thing I can think of is if you wanted to have a custom livery in case you wanted to share your replay with someone.

Anything I'm missing?

I take those as opportunities to put some mileage on my cars, and it helps me bond with cars I otherwise may have never driven, and sometimes it is a nice surprise.

Thursday already again,i swear time goes by faster when you're retired,😄,its a good news bad news day,got another gold but dropped out of the other by .044.
As for the new TT were in for now but opt was 28.8,and its a fun run!

Despite this first gold time, I feel I can go faster on several parts of this track and still gain few tens.

While everyone else is off on the new TT, I'm in for a short stint in Germany.

I did not want to spend much time here, so I watched the WR ghost and watched @Tidgney 's guide.

Gold in 5 laps. Safe Gold in 8.

I'll hop in the Civic Sunday. I have a Nation's race to practice tomorrow.

Even if I don't plan to share it and probably never even watch the replay myself, I always use cars that I have a livery for...

That goes that far, that I don't do that Super Formula race in this weeks challange until I put a livery on one of my SF cars...


Having shared that, I have to mention, that I love that new TT...

I like the car but even more the track...

Completly overlooked and neglected that layout in reverse so far, and it feels as driving on a completly new track...and not a bad one!

Still don't know how to nail it...not gonna look at any videos for now too, cause I wanna find out myself.
That first corner/hairpin is tricky, and that section leading to the banked curve is so much fun to drive...but basivally I like every bit of this layout, and that Civic is a perfect car for it!
