✅ golded the Monza CE
✅ applied livery
✅ ran test race with TT car
✅ watched lap guide
❌ chased lap guide ghost (forgot to)
✅ got 🏅
I got inspired by the structured approach outlined here:
I watched Tidgney's lap guide on my phone during the day. Then installed the new update and got to "work".
First I golded the CE rather quickly.
Then I looked for a Power Rangers livery because of this:
Didn't find one and put on a throwback Williams instead.
Then I did the WTC 800 race which I had not done before. Racing tires are required. Slapped on some RH and then detuned a bit to 800pp. Car handling is rough. Power oversteer is insane even with RH instead of the TT's SS tires. Car is totally overpowered in the race though and needs no pit stop if you adjust the fuel map. Won by over a minute.
Then I did the VGT Trophy race with the stock SS tires. Only 793pp where 850 are recommended. Did I say power oversteer on RH was insane? Well I guess my English isn't good enough to come up with a word to properly describe it. Had to restart a few times. Did reasonably well after getting the hang of it, but outbroke myself through Variante della Roggia in the last lap and did not manage to catch the other Genesis VGT.

Fastest lap of only 1:43.5 did not bode too well for the TT either.
Then I did the race again. For some more practice but also to tick off the win since I would want to get it at some point anyways. This time I caught the other Genesis through Variante del Rettifiio at the beginning of the last lap and brought it home. Fastest lap of 1:41.6 still ways off gold though.
Now it was time for the TT. To my surprise my first invalid lap was already in the 1:40s. Not sure if practice had paid off or whether the car was nerfed in the VGT Trophy race. About ten laps later i had a 1:39.2 in the bag. Unless Ebrahim or some of the other aliens goes wild on this one and beats a 1:36.317 I will be safe. I doubt that I will come back unless I have to.

Other than wrestling with the car and sloppy brakes in general I only really struggled with flooring it through Curva Grande using Tidgney's short shift into 6 at turn in trick. Once I slightly hit the curb without losing the rear it was fine.
Fixed it for you.
