I decided I was happy enough with my Autopolis time and placing and really didn't feel like chasing down maybe 1 tenth. So I flew back down to Australia. Much better! The kangaroos had nothing on me tonight. It was far from a perfect lap but still pretty fast. I can almost taste that sub 2:00.

Here we go again... Autopolis was so easy I didn't even figure out my braking points yet and went about 0.8xx under gold time in not very many laps.
It's the same aliens, must just be a significantly easier track/ car combo to get right.

I got a little over 2 hours so this is it. But I am not sweating it at all. Nice to see a new leader, someone beat K Bruin's time. He used the Citroën car.

I was testing out some different cars on MP with a controller and one thing I noticed is that if you're just a little bit off-line, there's significantly less grip on corner exit and mid-corner especially. So just staying on the correct line can gain you quite a bit of time. I'm going to make sure to pay attention to that when going for gold again.

You may not get the result you want at AP, but switching to MT is a huge step, congrats !

Last day aliens dropped me out of Autopolis gold by 0.03% and I couldn’t get back in with a last-minute session. Was below the delta with 90 secs left but binned it in the final sector.

Think it’s time to retire, if I can’t get gold here it’s never happening. Not really getting any faster, which was the whole point. Silver #31.

But hey, at least I had this for the new one (for 0.5 seconds)

So my morning session at Bathurst was successful and improved 0,3s and broke into 01s!
Now my pb is 2:01.993 and gold isn't far, and I have whole week left.

So close this deadly walls.

Autopolis is finished, as my anniversary 20th gold!

Not thrilled with new TT, but my full attention is on Bathurst right now.

The WTC 700 race is on that direction. Good practice. I’ve done it a load of times in the past.

I tried again this morning, my last attempt...., one week on fire and on to the next one so for this one i'm throwing in the towel...

Had a few midsectors to dream of this morning but stuffed up to much for comfort, did lower my PB but with a nervous crappy lap....
I can gain so much uphill but A uphill is fire but last sector sucks or the other way...

Went to a 200.268 , i'm done , this was fun

Yes, Dragon Trail should be a blast to race at especially in a road car. Sigh, I did not get gold at AP which I already knew I probably wouldn't considering the time I had left and all the players that got gold fairly quickly. Now I golded all the sectors and the lap at DT-Gardens so I'm reasonably a good driver there.

Wow, it's gonna be sweet driving in a classic Mercedes car!! Looking forward to the next 2 weeks! I failed the AP course. I've got to gwt my third gold this time, I mean it. Here was my last lap at AP with the MT that I recorded on Monday evening, after 455 laps I still could not find the secret move!!

The sound is up full blast this time, dang. These cars have loud engines, some sound like mufflers, xD.I've never seen the beat in my life, god what a workout the past 3 days, I am just shocked, i kept messing up turn 1, my exit lines were poor, I always clocked S1 at 0'22.001-0'22.536.

No matter how hard I tried I could not get to the hairpin in under 1 minute, I wish I could have found that extra speed somewhere. I'm kind of burned out on that last one, I may not get to the new TT until this weekend. I just don;t understand, I am not getting the wheel because I'd be sweating bullets trying to manage the MT there, there's no freaking way I'd attempt that extra stress on my body.



So, what you do all think of that? Honestly I wasn't impressed by it, I was hoping to get in the mid 55's.

Great, an average result with the Genesis would get me silver. That's promising as I already created a decent livery to run this thing around the mountain... On the other hand it is tempting to run the "20 Mercedes into shiny silver... Thanks for all the stats!

This new time trial can be a tad frustrating with that rear end! Highly recommend if you're struggling just keep it in 3rd and don't touch 2nd! Here's the guide for those interested, plenty of time left in my lap I can see a 1:50.8 with my best sectors.

So, what you do all think of that? Honestly I wasn't impressed by it, I was hoping to get in the mid 55's.

So Chris, a few remarks from fellow controller user with very basic setup...
You're too late with braking for turn 1, at first hairpin you're again too late and in consequence too wide. The long left hander afterwards you're too conservative and braking a bit, but still too much - it can be done very quick without touching the brakes at all (look at the Tidgney lap guide). At second hairpin your line is not optimal at all, too close to the curbs on entry and pushing too wide on exit.
Besides for almost all 3rd sector you are lightly touching the brakes all the time, even on straights! If it's not your finger, check if by chance the trigger is not working properly (if this is the button you use for braking).
Besides being in the process of learning MT you make the usual mistakes of hitting limiter, but that's understandable and I bow to you for trying to adapt.
It should most probably help you to drive faster, but it demands time and patience I suspect.
