This already has become that leaderboard of terror, but at least you can see me in the mirror now 🤣🤣

hahahaha...
I am sure tomorrow morning we will swich positions.
I had .6 in me and made most stupid mistake, I passed all turns and now I am on finish line and now I look at deltas and see it will be .6 and then instaed of shifting up when revs reach end, I hit limiter first and shift... and just watching deltas going in opposite direction.... and ended up on exactly 700 anyhow it is what it is currently, will see how many of you and other regular aliens put me in rear mirror and then see what I can do :)

@P-Courty I am wondering how it goes for you with Ferrari Dino. ( We two only on motion control ) I know when you shared your controller settings, you mentioned among other things that you don't change sensitivity ever.
I wonder if you run few sessions with Dino, and then I give you my settings to try, what would you feel about that? Have you tried Dino and what is your time now, just curious before I reach PS I guess I can see for myself on friend list.

Not in the same league as most of you guys, but nevertheless, quite happy with my improvement so far in the Dino at Sardegna TT.
I'm currently sitting on silver after shaving off 1 second to my first try, which gave me a bronze.

I must say that I'm lacking consistency with this combo. The damn weight transfer and the feared last couple of turns makes me feel like I'm just rolling the dice. I'm getting like 1 out of 10 valid laps on each try :indiff:

Stubborn as I'm and funny as this little italian horse is, I intend to persevere and go for the additional 0.5" to enter safe gold territory.

As I'm still transitioning from AT to MT, I'm still getting used it. I'm happy to try it on TTs like this one (and the Ford Roadster one a couple of weeks back) because fewer shifting means fewer chances to mess it up :D

Proof, if proof were needed, that the plums don't lie: this is a great little TT, I love it! Had a 45 minute window, very nearly got into the 1.04s so I'll definitely be back. I have extra motivation since I decided not to be a coward and added @Jeje6410 after all. :P

Excellent new avatar!

This motivates me even more !!! 🤣🤣🤣
I think @PlanetJanet would have been better to keep quiet !!! 🤣🤣🤣 Remarks, keep it up I might go below 1'05 !!!! 😉😉😉🤣🤣🤣

New improvement with a time of 1'05'015 with an optimal time of 1'04'959 and beat my record of 561st in the world

Glad I could be of assistance. :D

Will be having another go this evening, watch out!

Hi,

Started today on 1:07:7xx. Finished today on 1:06:2xx. Very pleased. I am starting to see improvements from my new set up now. It's all bedding in nicely. Some more great tutoring from J.E. ( Hello J.E.!!! )

The speed at which you release the brakes and apply the throttle is key for me here - I am just beginning to understand it now. I know there is a mid 1:05:xxx here for me. Fingers crossed.

Best regards to all here.

Ian.

The guy almost died at Nurburgring, some even say a priest gave him the last rites.... Only to come back on the tracks weeks later. Not only that, after his accident he made a comeback in the early 80's and won the championship.

Legendary driver.
@Chris30 watch the movie "Rush". It's superb, and tells the story of Austrian Lauda and his rivalry with British racer James Hunt, which was the backdrop for the fiery crash at the Nurburging in the 70s.

Finally got a chance to hop in the Veyron last night and run it around Le Mans.

I like this TT. Pretty happy with what I can do in an hour, so I'm hopeful with a little time maybe I can get in to the 2:18s. 2:17s would be a nice goal, but not sure I can find that much time.

Spent some more time in the Dino last evening but could only get within a tenth of my previous PB of 1:06.3xx and was finding it a very very frustrating experience so I ended up just quitting for the evening. Just wasn't feeling it y'know. There's times taking those fast right-handers where it feels like I haven't done anything differently but the car starts sliding and it's just gone. I'll be giving it another try later today and see how she goes. I'd like to secure another gold for sure.

I changed my mind, I'm not doing the Le Mans trial anymore. I clocked a 4'31.387 for my final lap there, and I'm done like dinner. Forget the extra cash, I'd rather have my sanity and peace by not going overboard running laps and making no progress, so I quit. I just was not feeling it with it's complexity and length. So, I'm still proud and pleased with my time. Aren't you guys proud of me? I've done enough at Le Mans, did a total of 35 laps.
