Now our German friends are doing it too !!!! 🤣🤣Well done my friend !!!!
It’s just more motivation !!!! 🤣🤣
Friend @Pesselles I can't be alone in this challenge !!!! 🤣🤣
This is another disrespectful behaviour from @crome and it must be flagged. This is clearly provocative and it's not acceptable!:sly:

I'll try to do my best my friend, but I'm not sure to challenge players with wheels and manual gears.

Bravo @NicoGmbh and @manou !!

Ok, so I'm always celebrating road cars, car control, and oversteer... and I think this TT was designed for me to put my foot in my mouth! Enter the Dino...

This one is TOUGH. I usually find gold in any TT within a couple laps, but this time around I was in the friggin' 1:08-1:10s for many laps. Just driving along not knowing what the hell to do. It doesn't help that this layout is one I've never seen before (which is criminal as it is an awesome little track), and most of my time was spent just figuring out the lines... but add the Dino on top of that and here is a recipe for a real challenge.

Don't get me wrong, I love putting in the work needed to get better with a certain combination. The oversteer on this thing is dangerous and often seemingly impossible to catch (throttle helps), but when you nail those arcs and maintain precious momentum there is a real sense of accomplishment and reward for it. This is the way games/challenges are supposed to be!

After a lot of failed laps, a few decent ones, and an hour or so of time I was lapping consistently in the 1:05s-1:06s, but I'm still hell bent on finding more time (and competence) here. I went and watched Tidge's guide after my session last night and found that he cuts the right hander after the uphill esses pretty aggressively, and this is one of the more troublesome corners for me. I think just reforming how that single corner is done will bring me into the 1:04s. I hope to have some time again soon to make it happen.

I sit at a 1:05.421 for now... which I'm mostly happy with. But I won't be happy until I get a crack at cutting that corner! The final complex isn't easy either, and I hope to grabble up some time there too.

Congrats to all those doing work in this one! I'm actually surprised to see how many people find good pace here. This is NOT an easy combo by any metric. Good work everyone.

Here is my last session chasing my own 1:05.6 ghost and getting the 1:05.421

Cool, I'm going to try to take a look at your replay tonight. I quit the Le Mans TT, it is way too long and very easy to make mistakes on the track.

hey quick question guys, I noticed in Tidge's vid that his HUD has both miles and kilometers per hour displayed in the bumper cam. Is that something that can be set in the options?? I can't find it if it is...
No. If you look closely, the km/h display is pasted in from a second video with the units set to metric, overlaid on the first. You can occasionally see ghost kerbs going through it...

Altho he was probably druk from the party up there somewhere in the clouds.....and he probably was intoxicated by inhaling some quadrofiglio pilotsport tire smoke... don't know what your state was......but this feels good again @Dan_Tes ...🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is absolutely a .6 in it cause I did stuffed some of those up due to eating to much blue to early on the final turn 🤬🤣🤣
Fastest OPT was 606 this morning

@Chris30 Le Mans means exitspeed, due to the long straights it's key.
Study some lines, better again to coast a turn with a good racingline and early throttle than a bad line and poor exit.
Try not to rev the bug out all the way btw, half of the bar or so seems to be enough

Good luck👍
Oh you rascal!! How dare thee!? I’m not surprised, you’ve been so so fast in every trial this year pretty much I’m not surprised to see you up there 😁

To add insult to injury; the Dino trial is the sort that I don’t like, way too much weight transfer shenanigans and the only way to make it bearable for me on a wheel is to use countersteering assist 🫣 so not only have you beaten my time you’ve beaten a time I set by cheating 😜

Le Man is still my focus but alas I may fail to get my first 👽 scoreboard emoji 😕 I did have a number of days at home at the start of next week to grind (and I’m really enjoying it, the stability of the ‘Bug’ is really comforting on a long track like Le Sarth) but sadly got called into work and away until Tuesday 😔 even worse I had set a 4:16.6 on my final lap of my session on Friday but for the tiniest track limits deviation which rendered the lap NULL AND VOID 😤

Low 4:16s feel possible thanks to optimum splits but no free time to try put paid to that!!

Aaaand photographic proof that at one point my Dino time was worthy of an 👽…

@P-Courty I am wondering how it goes for you with Ferrari Dino. ( We two only on motion control ) I know when you shared your controller settings, you mentioned among other things that you don't change sensitivity ever.
I wonder if you run few sessions with Dino, and then I give you my settings to try, what would you feel about that? Have you tried Dino and what is your time now, just curious before I reach PS I guess I can see for myself on friend list.
I haven't done the Dino TT, I love the Dino but unfortunately I am a 6hr flight from my PS4 😂 sunning myself in Cape Verde and won't be back until the day after this one finishes 😔

For the Bugatti, as always I kept the sensitivity the same, but changed the other two settings both to 6 to make it feel less understeery on entry and more stable in the corner.

See what the next TT brings and we'll try each others settings 👍🏻

Edit: just watched Tidney's vid and I think for this one I would have gone for what I did with the Aston at Goodwood:
Countersteering assist - on
Force feedback torque - 5
Force feedback sensitivity - 3

How do you guys master the motion sensor thing, it doesn't work well for me at all. I can't find the trick and feel for it!
Try the settings I posted to start as it seems to work pretty well with most cars, pick a front wheel drive road car and do a few laps around Tsukuba Circuit to get used to tight turns and direction changes.

It took me about 1 - 2 weeks to start getting quick with it but I was still finding the right settings.

Enjoy your vacation. Here are mine settings for Dino.

No improvement with my non-orange Dino

Many laps in red, and my best laps were 1:05.5 / 1:05.7 - I'm clearly not enough consistent to expect another improvement.

If I'm ok with a 1st sector around 28.4xx, I really need to improve my 2nd sector to mark below 0:37 (I'm +1 sec than videos guides). A 2nd sector around 0:36.5xx would give me a 1:05 flat and I still think it's doable.

My problems are still the T7 where I'm still too hesitant / faulty and the final part which is clearly my weakest point.
Tonight I've completly ruined at minimum 2 laps clearly below 1:05.5 because ot those final turns. Damned...

Still 10 days to fix that.

Thumbs up for your first sentence. :D;)

You'll be there soon and i have to say i don't want to go back.

I had 200kms driven at Sardgena today, but sadly with no new PB.

I've done my math.... An opt S1 with 24.5 and a S2 done right (within my skills range) with 37.0 or a 36.9 would still set me at the 1:05,5 mark. Which is pretty much where I stand right now. Those are the opt that I hit in my PB, and today I either hit those times at S1 or S2. But never at the same lap but once.

Today I clocked once a 1:05,5, a couple of 1:05,6, a bunch of 1:05,8 and 1:05,9 and dozens of 1:06 flat.

I'll rest my eyes and hands for now.

@Pesselles your math in this TT is the same of mine. In case you find the solution for this puzzle, let me know. 😅

Very late to the Lemans party. Finally had some seat time today. Great time trial, really wish I had the chance to start it earlier. The track limits are very odd on this one.
If I don't get the chance to return, atleast I know my gold streak is safe.

@330_D Thanks for the uploaded ghost.

I need to back track 7 pages for my read through the thread.

I'm with you @Gogga. Just ran my 2nd session in the Veyron today, and I think this TT suits me well.

I had a 4.18.0xx but with a minor limits infraction, but I was still able to turn in this time which I'm very happy with.

I think the 4.17s may be in sight! ...assuming I have enough seat time left to chase them.

Solid lap time there!

My optimals are around the 4:18.8xx but I can't string a complete lap together. The latter half of the track always kills me.

My seat time is also extremely limited.
Can't wait to get into the Dino and see how that one goes.
