As promisedFinal colour note:
I swear if I get to gold I'm going to take a ride just to take down these freaking cones one by one. You stupid s@#@##@ of #@@###@
Just put all the perfect corners into one lap. 😌😂😂Holy cr*p how the h*ll did you managed that?! ....epic! Congrats! 🙏👽👽
Trust me....there isn't any 🫠Just can't get a grip on this car...
That's exactly this way I'm trying to improve my T1. May I ask you what is your average time on the T1?For those that struggle with T1, i use the first pit-out line as brake marker and just full on straight brake to 2, then turn in with my foot off the gas untill i can hit full throttle. Works a charm!
I felt like I lucked out with turn 1 on my fast lap. I couldn't even tell you what I did. I had tried to induce a bit of sliding with trail braking on many attempts. Went in for a smoother and tighter entry other times. That particular lap I did a mix of both. Moments of very, very slight oversteer while downshifting, then somehow got the car to rotate and hit the apex, leading to a good exit. @Gomario JSP had good advice about getting through there.@Dolph Drago any thoughts? I saw your replay. I'm trying to copy what you did at T1, but it's hard.
I really wanted to do a poop emoji on your post. My advantage over both of you didn't even last through the (my) evening. I'm already the meat in the sandwich and will probably be the bottom piece of bread by the time I hit the track again. But finaly into the 5xx....
You are not the first one to poop emoji me 🤣🤣 Your S1 was indeed quite good, I checked , you were @ 28.181 were I was @ 28.137 I already ran high 27's there but yeah.....you know the deal 🤣I felt like I lucked out with turn 1 on my fast lap. You can always ask! Avarage around 28.3xx, good ones on 28.2xx bad ones on 28.4xx :-) hope it helps! That's exactly this way I'm trying to improve my T1. May I ask you what is your average time on the T1?
With that method, I'm able to hit the full throttle a bit earlier than previously, which impact directly on the exit speed of the first turn.
As direct effect, I've lowered my T1 to 28.396 - which is far from perfect, I agree - but I've gained almost 0.1 sec.
Almost the opposite for me. "Almost" because I do enjoy both in general, I just tend to do better in high downforce cars for some reason. With that said, now that I finally dipped into the 1:04 (yay! 🥳 ), I think I'll close the Dino chapter for now. If I find the time, I might go back to Le Mans once again, where I actually feel closer to another improvement even though I'm already unusually high up the community leaderboard. Let's find out ...Looking at the chart more closely, it nicely illustrates what I already suspected: I'm not very good at race cars, and I don't enjoy those TTs. The spikes are all race car TTs, I do much better in cars like the Dino.
I think when Corel bought JASC it started to go downhill, I'm still using JASC Paintshop Pro 9 which was the last one before they were bought by Corel back in 2004 😂.Ah man I miss JASC Paintshop Pro so much sometimes....I don't miss Coreldraw however 🤣
Must've just needed a break. Went back and did a 1:05.54 after two laps. Good enough. This new TT in the Dino is more difficult than I thought it would be. The right hander after the esses is what is killing me. i feel like I either take it a bit too quick and track out enough that it kills my momentum (aka clipping the grass) or just way too slow.
Sitting at an 05.88 so just a hair over the current gold. I feel like if I could just hit that right hander I'd knock .300 off there alone.
You're not alone mate.I woke up 2 hours ago, damn this TT. The gold is gonna be a nightmare!! I'm stuck at 1'09.641! God, I'm sweating bullets here!
EDIT: The last turn is a mystery for me, if I go wide out and clip the apex while going straight, I risk going past the blue line which will invalidate my lap. But then if I brake early and veer to the right I lose more time, so idk what to do about it yet.
Lol, priceless picture as an example, it's like a chore controlling it because it slides so much. But it drives good due to how old it is.
Try TCS 1 and countersteer on max. Makes it an easy drive. Once you're used to it you can turn off TCS and set counter steer to weak. Trust me, you're Gonna want to do this step by step :-)I switched the ABS to weak, turned all assists off and switched to MT just now. I hope this makes a big difference for me!
I believe it is.Managed close to a .100 drop in the Dino today, hope it's enough to stay Gold.

Well I know I won't be in the low 1'05.000's, or even the 1'04.000's, that's too much work!Boys, it was an honor fighting beside you guys but I think I'm gonna throw the white towel here.
30 minutes today at Sardegna and again nothing new.
Sad to say I'm not seeing more time to be gained with the Italian Impostor. But at the same time I'm happy I could get into the gold margin in the very first day and also made an improvement then. From 1:05,9 to 1:05,4.
I'm eargely waiting for the next TT.
