I think he did the same thing with the Scirocco at Laguna recently and potentially a couple others. I don't pay attention to it usually as that level is way over my remit, but my friend Padrome was in WR contention this time so I'm specially aware of it!
It's got to be so annoying 😅

Well I guess I should get to work at Le Mans, now that one will be a job to try to gold so I'm not so confident about that one.

Maybe I can get @Gomario JSP advice on it. I need to set a realistic goal and time to beat, even if it's in the silver range.
Congratulations on your gold lap at Tsukuba!, one more in the books!

Le Mans, i must say that's a tricky one Chris, the track is long and needs a lot of concentration, the tracklimits are sharp but understandable, but the car is a handfull.

But you can def. set a descent time with AT and TCS on here, because i think TCS at zero is not the way to go for you here.
maby silver is the way to go, because 3:41.9xx for gold is quite a struggle.

My advice is just start and focus on the first part of the track first, dunlop en Tertre Rouge due to the long straight after, for me that's the most tricky part of the track somehow.
just work your way up the track that way and get to know the downforce a bit,

and remember...... it doesn't realy like turning under braking so coast a bit in the corners can def help you.

I remember his last minute laps in GT6, but I was living under the impression that's not possible in GT7 as you need to be online all the time...
From his profile I see he's done only 10 selected TTs, but from what I remember he snatched the WR only in two (this and Lake Louise)?
I thought this was a TT and not an online auction 😆
Hopefully he won't die out like ebay, the online dinosaur 😉

Cheers
Martin

I'm back, I'm fixing to eat, I decided just to stop at a fast food joint and get some breakfast items so I'm fixing to eat.

@Gomario JSP I hate the Tetre rouge sharp right turn after the straightways and chicanes, I can never get my line right and I end up going in the sand 75% of the time. I misjudge when to brake and what amount of speed I need to use. So, I have to embrace my creativity and find a solution to make my drive easier. It is a time killer and eater. Lol, I wish I could avoid it by taking a shortcut, but...

PD won't let that happen!

I think I'm experienced with Barcelona so I won't worry about that right now. I have 2 weeks to clock my time there so it's not a major rush for me.

Here's the latest time trial guide for those interested! You don't have to abuse the engine braking if you don't want to and that's what I was focused on this morning! It was rank 1 for a little while but I've dropped a little since, and my pad lap was nearly a top 10 time at the time!

Collected my 2Mil for Tsukuba and ran a Sardegna grinder this morning so the bank account got a nice bump (no thanks to PD with the "generous" donation of 10K for my DW ticket lol). Then I took my gorgeous matt black AMG out at Catalunya with the controller and managed to set a decent bronze time in only a few laps which tells me gold should be in play here for me once I get serious with the wheel rig tonight. I absolutely love this throaty torque-monster of a car! Such a pure beast...you can almost feel the Gs pushing you back into the seat as you get on the gas.

Hey y'all. I struck the pot of gold.

I ran 45 more laps and finally on Lap 44 I clocked a 1'12.886. My hands, thumbs and fingers are sore. I really want to keep going and get a sub-1'12.500, but my body is telling me I should stop. My main focus was to achieve the gold time, so really I don't have to do this anymore. I think I'll leave it at that.

@myH88 thank you for telling me your settings, I switched ABS and CSA to weak and the controller sensitivity to 10 and it worked finally. I knew I had it in me tonight. So this will be my 6th gold out of probably 90-100. I am definitely improving greatly everyday by learning tricks and stunts from you guys, I will never leave this community and website.

So, my plan Sunday is to begin the McLaren TT at Le Mans and see how I do there. It's been a long day for me, today does not seem like Wednesday to me.

Thank you all for your help and support, :)

Yeesss Sir! I knew you could do it!
I'm happy that you got the GOLD and that my settings were a little helpful for you... @Chris30 the golden boy!

Hi guys (and Greeks)!

Really no time to give to GT7 (64 kms today), so I can't expect miracles.
I've golded Tsukuba (not proud of my medium score) with the Civic and banked the Cr. 2.000.000.

I'm sure I could have get closer to 1:12 flat but...
Anyway, it's still a gold reward and I'm ok with it.

Spain is a nice colorful country, so I should have a colorful AMG to race in the new TT.

The more observant among you will see that there is some little orange here and there but not too much... It's "elegant", "understated", refined and should do the trick.

After few laps without ghost or tutorial, I already have a decent silver score: 1:53.434

Gold is clearly doable for me, I only need time to practice and to lap (10 laps is about 20 mins).

The car is great, the track is not to complex, I simply need to be more careful to the braking points and the apexes if I want to enter the yellow territory.

Happy laping, friends ;)
