I do that daily. It wasn't freezing. I just got tired of the disconnecting nonsense. That night, I decided it wasn't worth my time to wait an hour when I have other stuff to do.

As I feel there currently isn't an adequate Watkins Glen to use for this Friday's race, who is okay with running @Razerman 's Circuit of the Americas instead?

I tested it. I think that somewhere like Daytona RC would be better or even Motegi West/Suzuka East but hey it's your series.

I would say without chicanes but it really doesn't matter that much to me.

After testing, I feel it will be significantly more fun with the chicane, as I feel the track becomes boring without it. Like Empty Box once said "The ultimate test of intelligence - Turn 1, Lap 1, Monza."

Also, OP updated with Monza w/chicane regulations.

Due to that Empty Box quote I think the race needs to be called the Around the Outside(whatever race distance).

It probably is more fun with the chicanes for a solo lap, but I have a feeling that with the chicanes in for this group, the race will become a wreckfest.

Yup, this is one of the few times "sucks to suck" can be used in a proper way. Regardless of lack of skill, I think it would be better with the chicane anyway.
