In Season 2 it was the car you didn't want, but I was able to tune it and I won in it, when the TOCA Legends was supporting the TOCA main series 4.2, I got 2 wins and a second place from 3 races and won the championship despite missing a race, so the car can dominate, it hasn't in Season 1 or 2 though.

Yeah well, I think akmuq was one of the few that actually had a setup back then... 💡
However, I also remember that the field wasn't particularly skilled back then, I could say that us two would be fairly dominative if that field now returned to race... no bragging of course, but I should be able to get much more out of the Mazda than before.

Also, have I mentioned about the incredible coincidence that both akmuq and me, in that order, made our TOCA debuts at Tsukuba, driving a Honda, and immediately claimed pole position only to fall back due to contacts?
It took me 6 races to get my first podium which was a win... but it should've come earlier, I was apparently an easy target as a newcomer which was largely discouraging. Indy race 2, RacerPaul lacks any spacial awareness and ruins my race, then in Race 3, DK hits VTEC who hits me in the sand... finally I get away from everyone in Race 4 and show what driving is all about.
Too bad that while S2 was close, I have really bad memories from almost every race.

S2 cars are different though (the old TOCA S2000 / N1 spec). They were not as fast on straights but had so much aero grip. You could really push and shove with these as you wouldn't be punished. If GTP Johny tried some of his stupidity now in modern cars, he'd wreck as they are much harder to control.

i agree with furi with the aero grip as my legends car could match the times and even beat what i managed in the mini even though the mini had nearly 100BHP more

I have several Mazda's. To point out there is the Mazda6 and Mazda Atenza touring cars, both are the same and eligible, just one is LHD and the other RHD.

Well, if there were more right handers at a track, for example a track like Monaco, then the right hand drive would be better for cornering as the drivers weight is in a better position..
