Good call mate, personally i'd resurrect it in a few months under a different name. 'TOCA' as a title, has been getting bad rep because of all this infighting.

good idea, FIATC. or something along those lines. WTCC maybe? something that sounds real, or maybe a sponsor then touring car championship? for eg, Bridgestone World Touring Car Championship. something along those lines make a series stand out and make them known.

Durex World Touring Car Championship.

Problem solved, time to get to work.

How did you do in the NASCAR tonight man?

You should stick it out in NW, it's not dying, just people didn't want to show up for an off week that wasn't for points. Add that to the fact that it was the FA Cup final AND the real Nationwide Race was live tonight. You're a quality stock car driver 👍

I may show up for the odd Nationwide. And tonight in the All-star made it to the final and got wrecked 3 times in 5 laps, including a pit move by joe on the backstretch

Oh and update ARCA thread mate, i've signed up full time. Still think you should drop hp ;)

EDIT: Agree with Chris.

I feel that people in Nationwide aren't really all that dedicated. A really big part of the grid is made up by Sprint Cuppers and Darlington was a big letdown if you ask me, even though it did have lots of DC's, which I admit.

Put the emphasis on the word stock. I honestly hate having to get a tune from elsewhere before every single race of the season because I can't tune cars for s##t myself as shown in the All-Stars qualifier. The tranny was all messed up and my car lacked torque so insanely that I was at the 50's when every other driver had low 49's.

lmao. That is the kind of thing that stood out when i first joined this series. The fact that it was fun. it was a bunch of great guys having fun bombing it round a track, going wheel to wheel round hairpins, having trains of 6 cars nose to tail through the chicanes. It was the first series that i properly took part in, and it was laid back, but it was active and professional. The spin of threads and series have been great, TOCA asia...brilliant, the press conference's...something no-other series has had, and the news thread....just awesome! It has just become to intense , people getting to excited and getting p*ssed off to easily. Take it back to how it was before cape ring, laid back, friendly, active.
Just make a few changes to the regs, because that seems to be the problem. A few rules and cars have stained a great series and that is sad. Just take time in making sure you have the right cars, the right tracks, the right rules. Make sure that all the cars have their strong and weak tracks, all the tracks are approved my the majority of the drivers, and get a steward panel in.

I haven't done any series racing before but this series has evolved so much in the last 4 weeks, and unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worst. If you can get it going again like it was pre-season, then count me in for the re-branded TOCA :)

^this.

Maybe the TOCA name is old...

I suggested a european series to compliment the asia toca series

European Touring Cars perhaps

Hey thing is we have a good platform. I still want the same cars pretty much, team format, championships, and race distances. They're good.

Come on Furi, the current cars are clearly not made for racing each other, what's wrong with 3 or 4 different cars? I prefer three, more accurately the original Atenza, Focus and Volvo, all of which had their strengths and weaknesses, but were mainly even on all tracks, including Monza. 👍

Yeah. I still want no aero though as that also means more eligible cars.

Here's an idea which will please every Irish Honda fanboy in the series, replace the Civic with an Integra, that should be capable of competing with the other 4.1 rides. :)

Well...

hell of a ride then. Just a little disappointed its ended this way...
