Fixed.

Also, challenge accepted.

What challenge? Also, Neljack and MaulPac haven't done low 58's either. :boggled:

As for akmuq's post, I was talking about S1, where Dax Neljack was too fast in the Ford GT. :scared: Oh well, I kind of lost the championship due to my own mistakes, but at least Dax and his friends did them too. :)

Challenge accepted as in I will match that low 58 in a Mazda.

Honda's lightest car so I fully expect to have an edge at Tsukuba. But I've seen how poor it was off starts at the Ring and its generally doesn't have the top end speed.

I'm 100% certain at least 3 makes will win this season.

To be fair, it reall should be the case that all 5 can win...

In other news, despite it sang What Makes You Beautiful before, CleverBot has obviously never seen Grease.:(

Mazda fastest? It's snail pace compared to the Volvo in a straight line, and thats harsh on the snail.........

I've been pretty even with Carb on straights all testing (I feel like i've run about 50% of my testing with him alongside me...)

Yeah when you get into the higher gears it's fine, but on the exit of corners is despression watching the Volvo either get away or go past, you cant defend or attack on the Mazda in corners.

Thats my opinion, anyway :P

EDIT: Not saying anything needs to be changed now different cars have different characteristics, but I do want things changed for S6.

I want the whole roster of cars to be overhauled for S6.

Love how you created a whole new word by mixing "despair" and "depression". ;)

EDIT: ^It's 4WD then. :indiff:

Please don't say you're mixing 4WD with 2WD...

If so, I hope you are introducing Rolling Starts..

Furi the fact around Tsukuba is Volvo IS fastest I tested them to the death did atleast 30 mins in each around Tsukuba. (20 laps and inbetween setup tweaks )

And the result was:

Volvo (58.3/.4)
Honda (58.5)
Mazda (58.7)
Ford (58.8)
Nissan (59.4) :guilty:

I did re try the others with LSD and there was little improvement around Tsukuba, I expect LSD to help around tracks like Spa more.

In the weekend I'm planning to do Monza and maybe Suzuka east btw ;). For Monza I'll be loging the top speeds of all cars too and hope to see closer results than Tsukuba :ouch:.

Sounds about right. My best in my Mazda is a 58.7 too. Can't keep up with the Volvo under power out the turns at all though. Only passed Volvos when they made mistakes or I divebombed down the inside.

I kinda know my fate already so I'm just there to have fun now.

If you really want to see how slow the Nissan is. Try Monaco, paulmac and compare the times there.

Furi, you should make a Test Driver Panel as well as a Steward Driver Panel for S6.

Let all drivers in S6 apply for one or the other and let the Test Drivers make the S6 specs collaboratively and let you and the Stewards do the dishing of the dirt.

Some of the balancing Dax and Neljack did in FIA GT1 S2 was outstanding. Paulmac and Joe are pretty much well-known precision drivers too. So there's a little vouch for those guys.

I've done some balancing in the past for what I think was going to be a GT4 series or something similar for TCR while I was racing with them. I'd gotten somewhere between 7 and 10 cars to have very similar laptimes and tyre wear around the same track, with some cars picking up oversteer as the tyres wore while others picked up understeer. I'll see if I can dig that up to see what I did to even them out.

Also, before I decided to sign up for TOCA S5 I'd asked to be a test driver for it, though nothing came of it.

As per usual the whinging bandwagon starts before a single race, including Dax. How surprising. No one car has dominated testing. And the new confirmed S6 car is a FWD.
