Let me explain what was happening to me tonight: the screen froze. Not as in that the image on the screen was stuck to a single frame, but as in that the countdown timer stopped with 17 seconds remaining. I received no notification of who was leading with one lap left, and I couldn't see the results at the end of the race. To top it all off, in race 1 I had to race without a speedometer, meaning that I had to remember my braking points and I had to listen to my engine to know when to shift up.

Damn. bad luck. Also I had a glitch that happened last season at High Speed Ring... the countdown music never stopped. So it looped all throughout race 1. Good stuff tonight though guys.

Also dk, DAN had a similar issue with timing not working either...

@tombrooks: practise. Monaco is not an easy place to make your debut. Tell me what times you can do over the course of the week.

I didn't get any countdown music, and I didn't get any background music either.

Lucky you!

I reckon this week was better than Madrid, but god those Honda's were fast off the blocks. And I saw on Lap 1 some 4 abreast racing... which brinngs me on to a couple points...

What caused that Race 2 pile-up before the tunnel? Akmuq in the wall, so was gedi... we were all piling in... It was like Macau in the WTCC...just a jam...

Honda - OMG. Rocket ship... vtec in race 3 I was like Oh ****......

BMW didn't do well, but good scrap with me gedi and RacerPaul at the end of Race 3.

Overall I think today bodes well for Tsukuba.

Had a good race 1 where I came 4th.:D

Race 2 I lost to Racer Paul by miliseconds. Good racing Paul, we were never more then 1 second apart.

Race 3 was pretty boring for me but I came 7th I think?

From my viewpoint, tonight was a good race meeting. Yes there was contact. But the way I saw it, it seemed
that people were making a good effort to avoid it

Absolutely loved the 6 or so car pile up into the tunnel at one point, what a laugh  Everyone did a great job
of untangling themselves imo 👍

After the horror show in Madrid, this was a good one :D

Tsukuba is my favourite track, and produces great racing. Will be fun to race... Also my thoughts are slowly shifting to Season 3... :sly:

@RP: You didn't get smashed front suspension and a broken engine from it did you? Thank god for Limited damage  . But tonight was a good one. 👍 And we had a hell of a fight at the end of Race 3. Who says you can't overtake at Monaco?

I enjoyed today but I was a bit dissapointed with myself. I got two quali runs and hit the barrier at turn 1 before braking just before the finish line in order to go vackwards into the pits.
I was dissapointed in race 3 because every time I closed the gap on vtec I would crash due to over excitement. At the end of that race(and every other race) I was dead meat due to the tyres being almost destroyed at the front.

I won't be there next week(probably) so i'll see you guys at the race afterwards.

Tough TOCA Racing; Monaco isn't the greatest for passing but yet passes went down. Alot of bumping & grinding but that's what TOCAs about, at least the "rubbing", wasn't a fan of DK getting pole for the second race. Though the "forced pit" in the 3rd race was fair (but DK still picked up another win in that 2nd race, not cool. :P lol)
I did manage to pull away from the carnage in the 3rd race, only to have my tires slowly deteriorate. Allowing ElStormV6 & Boyce to catch up, I tried defending the inside line on V6 but his BMW was quicker than I expected & squeezed through (nice one) & Boyce I had to rub off pretty hard at the chicane to get 2nd back. Was a little rough but with no traction I couldn't pull away enough to not rub the Mazda off the wall.
Overall, it wasn't that bad. A good showing compared to the Madrid race.
Tsukuba should be the most interesting track & I'm pretty excited for it.
( Loved seeing all three colours of the Honda Integra on the track :D )

OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS AFTER 12 / 25 RACES

I'm actually rather interested in this. Can I still join even though the series is at the halfpoint now? I haven't made my car decision yet, but probably will go with the BMW or Mazda if I do make it for the Tsukuba round...

Yes you can. Send a Friend Request to Furinkazen, and make sure you understand the rules on Page 1 of this thread.

Is it possible for me to race on saturday, if it's okay with everyone?

I'm actually starting to think that the Honda might also be a fine car for me. Found it at the OCD, since there was a lack of the other eligible vehicles in the other dealerships. Even without aids, it's surprisingly easy to drive these cars, so I think I'm gonna have fun here!

What would be a good time in Tsukuba for this season? I got a couple of 59:7's on the early practice where I just focused on getting a grip with the car and the course.

I love the Honda, but the front tire wear can come back to haunt you late in the race.

Sounds about right, make sure to practice in Lounge or an Open Lobby room & don't forget the Racing Hards.

That's Mr.M's call but I wouldn't be against it.

I have no worries. Just practice and you'll get there.

Thats good, but remember that the Honda we run is limited to 276hp and 1100kg.

Just like in the points standing, Everyone's chasing down DK

Our series is like F1...

There's Schumacher (driftking)

Kobayashi (me )

Don't worry, I have read the rules many times already :D It feels easy to learn driving these beasts on a flat course like this, but improving from my earliest laptimes... ugh. Best one's currently among the lines of 59'6.

I'll hope that I won't be the Hispania guy of the series, but rather something like... Räikkönen making a comeback! :dopey:

I'm more of a Kobayashi. Guys, was I more of a sensible driver last night?

NGTC Is almost ready for Season 3 - details in the TOCA Group... Full information to come very soon...

Race 2 before tunnel.....
partly my fault as i was hit at the rear which spun me into barrier and i tried my hardest to get out of way but couldnt, sorry to everyone who blames me but i can only take half the blame.

I was lucky I didn't get caught up in that crazy mess, was just ahead when it all went down.

Hello Touring car drivers!
Me and two other guys are trying to put together a Top Gear like YouTube video.
We've decided that we want to do a Samba Bus race.
Similar to the real Top Gear, we need some Touring Car legends to make the race a bit more exciting. :)
We're just gonna do a few laps around the Top Gear Test Track with a brief introduction at the beginning.
It shouldn't take more than an hour.
All we need is six or seven guys that either own, or are willing to purchase a Volkswagen Samba Bus. :P

Just a warning, you'll have to drive relatively dirty. :D

PM me if you're willing to participate.

I would certainly like to participate in the next TOCA race at Tsukuba if that is ok with you guys? ive got the integra dc5 race car so I will practise to see if that is suitable for me. Id have preferred to have the BMW but i only have the integra so that will have to do :)
