Eh? Thats not what I was implying

I was implying these changes should have been done way before now, mid point in the season. It was obvious the BMW's/Infiniti's were lacking power.

Yessir and they still have the RWD advantage over distances. People complain if things change every week, people complain whatever happens?

Seriously I can never do a thing right? Rarely do I ever get any thing right. You know what, what's the point anymore...

When I got raped by Pauls Mini on the tiny straight at Cape I wouldnt have cared if my BMW understeered like a pig and burned rubber like it was in an inferno in corners, at least I could compete on a straight.

Not having ago, just stating my opinion, Im not happy the changes have come mid point, thats all Im saying. 👍

So, I'm not allowed to complain about my cars uneven tyre wear because your answer is "Well you should have tested the cars", yet you can give yourself a Sports ECU when you should be the one testing all the cars?

Because 🤬 Logic.

I don't think the changes are all that bad, maybe slightly unnecessary for one or two cars(Infiniti and Mini), but it should hopefully make the racing cleaner. One of the things I'm noticing watching these replays is that most of the people who can't overtake on the straights are just forcing their way past mid corner. Now they have more straight line speed hopefully they won't feel the need.

Ive tested the ecu and it does not make a huge difference its just now the bmw does not drop off on power high end.

Some credit due i think, how many times have people complained that Furi's ignoring spec problems and just sailing on regardless? Wether hes got the tweaks right or wrong (personally i dunno:dopey:), atleast its a start.:P

+1 million to you.

In another note, and if you guys don't mind in doing this shameless plug, could anyone check the link to a series I'm thinking in starting soon here at GTP? Like I sayed, link's on the signature. Sorry for the shameless plug, back to the normal TOCA schedule.

TOCA7 MID SEASON PERFORMANCE TWEAKS:

AUDI - Now allowed SPORTS ECU
BMW - Now allowed SPORTS ECU
HONDA - No change
INFINITI - Now allowed SPORTS ECU
MAZDA - No change
MINI - SPORTS ECU banned
SUZUKI - 15 nitrous tanks and a fan for optimal ground effect :scared:

Tech Sheets will be updated tomorrow!

I have to agree with Spurgy on this one...

From personal experience in Fuji yesterday, Infiniti is not as bad when it comes to straight line speed as Furi thinks. As I could catch and pull along side BMWs and Audis even before finish line, I would need almost the whole straight to catch the Infiniti.
And when being drafted by an Infiniti, they could catch me as the BMW and Audi could barely keep up...

I must say, the Infiniti-boost has me scratching my head a bit. Over race distance (and that's the only thing that counts really) it was certainly on par with the Mazda.

Now it probably as quick as the Mazda on 1 lap, and far superior on race distance.

Almost finished my list :) Just so you guys know, I've been watching the first few laps of R2 where you can generally get a good idea of how people are driving.

Have you finished?

Well.. The Audi/BMW boost are the only boosts I agree with. The Infi is as people say a bit better on straights than Furi believes... (But it's his car and we all know if isn't fastest somethings wrong...) Much like when he said the Mini was slow on straights, which was bs as I proved... The Mini deboost I will have to check how much bhp it lost. If I deem it too much then I say put it back on and take away something else that decreases it slightly less.

For reference at Cape the fastest top speeds were.. Suzuki, VW, Honda, Mini, Infi, Mazda, Audi, BMW. Top 4 were seperated by 2/3mph at most but the Minis ace was it's acelleration. The Infi was around 5 off the Suzuki and 2/3 off the rest with the Mazda a mph slower. The Audi and BMW lagged behind being 7 and 8/9 off respectively. That's roughly how I remember it.

Also Gkm Spurgy had a triple the round before that.. ;) (P.S there are english people on CoD Black Ops 2 with the clan tag "[Gkm]" I laughed so much before TK'ing them for using such a clan tag :P)

Edit: Atleast the guys using the BMWs know how Plato felt in 2011 being 9-11mph slower in straights, where he couldn't even get alongside other cars .

The list :P I'm only posting this because I feel it would be helpful for people to know if they're being too aggressive or not.
And don't forget, this is only based on the first few laps of R2 before people get angry and bite my head off :P
The good news is that it wasn't as bad as it seemed at the time, most of the incidents were caused by different people each time.
In descending order;
Good/acceptable drivers who seemed to have good control and generally were driving cleanly:
Snow,
Scanny,
Smuffy,
Yera,
Polarbear,
Sakery. :)

Drivers who could have been a little less clumsy and sometimes not so aggressive but didn't do anything massively wrong:
Conbon,
Orama,
Cnd.

Drivers who were overly aggressive and who I would probably penalise:
DK,
Chris. :(

Drivers who deserve a slap:
Furi (appeared to be drunk :P),
Dax. :dopey:
