Spurgy the Mazda has better acel than the Infi but the Infi gets a higher top speed in the end. I went on only top speeds as trying to calulate each cars acel with it's TS would be too difficult... And leave BMW 3 seconds behind..

Surely it would be better to use the times taken to travel a certain distance?

Your both correct. The Infiniti posses top end but lacks handling in low speed corners, BMW has it there.

BMW - Low end ultra twisty
Infiniti - High end faster turns.

Cnd01 then? And I am not fastest driver but at Fuji I got myself briefly into 2nd in qualifying, and was running consistent top 10 before tyre wear killed me.
