Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2025

I can't even buy this because of some legal issue in Canada, it has nothing to do with the cars or parts. Just the name apparently.
Yep. Crave Entertainment published the TXR titles in Canada, and was bought out by Throwback Entertainment after going bankrupt. Throwback therefore owns the right to publish games under the TXR name in Canada.

So the good news is that it appears to be with the Canadian government department that handles trademarks:

Very interested to know how this runs on the steam deck as i dont have a PC.

Does it hit it a solid 60 fps?

I haven’t changed any of the defaults and it looks great already.

I found this on X
Holy F, if they manage to secure the Honda license as well the other ones, that would be massive.

Another one that stuck out for me was the KPGC10, aka Hakosuka, returning from TXR0. Hopefully the external oil cooler will be one of the customization options.

🤞

Is it easy to set up a DS4 controller for this? Just bought it but won't be able to play until next week
@AlexWilmot Out of the box it's fine, from my limited experience so far it's just a question of fine-tuning the handling settings and/or adjusting your driving style slightly.

For myself I left the Steering Angle Correction to On, at least for now (it was exacerbating the fishtailing I mentioned earlier). After another hour this evening I've settled on Handling Response + Return time to 0.4 + 0.6 respectively (hopefully those aren't the default values!), at least for the time being as I've found that helps get through the corners just a bit more smoothly. Braking/Acceleration e.t.c are fine as they are.
