Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2025

You quite literally need the RX8 maxed out as far as you can get it in Stage 2 in order to beat her. She is mentally quick. Oh and then start at a specific point since the AI is terrible at taking corners. I believe there is a YouTube video on it. Would have been nice to see it before I spent 3 hours scratching my head figuring out how to beat her with a BRZ.
I went pretty easy with my Nissan Silvia (S14) K's Aero SE '97, sure I had to play dirty, but a win is a win, right?

If i can give a banal and stupid tip, challenging the bosses with soft tires can be helpful which in addition to better grip, also gives a small boost to acceleration.

Keep in mind this is “Early Access”, aka beta. It’s normal to have some issues in this phase and outside of balancing I’ve seen very few bugs/challenges (some visual glitches/misalignment on car parts and the ‘new’ indicator not resetting on “References”, but that’s pretty much it). So keep reporting those issues on the forum.

Almost feels like Melancholic Angel is supposed to be a boss further down in the campaign, or got the wrong stats.

If this is only half the game and the files indicating more cars/brands coming, I’m hopeful for the future of this game.

Having a blast so far and with the controller settings tweaked it’s just great. Needs a more floaty chase camera though.

Between this and CarX Street, it’s great to see the return of great racing games on PC.

Melancholy Angel drove a pretty mid S15 in TXR3 and then the RX8 in ITC. If I recall correctly, she appeared in the later stages of ITC. Stage 2 seems way too early in TXR25 considering the stats of her car in comparison to the player’s.

I’m guessing Genki just threw her into the mix for testing ground.

The game's pretty easy for the most part, except for the bosses and team leaders which will have faster cars every time. Gloomy Angel though is the only one that feels like a true oldschool boss, ridiculously quick.

Between most of the rivals being too easy and her being a bit too hard, idk what's better or worse, but having this almost insurmountable wall infront of you really makes you stop and think of a different approach. Personally I enjoyed this, after figuring out the RX-8 was the fastest unlockable car at the current stage, I figured that was my only shot at beating her, and it was.

After gathering up enough cp to actually buy her car, it's like driving a racecar...way too much grip. I've yet to battle her in her own car yet though, I've got a feeling the bosses' cars are faster than the copies you can buy.

I think OP bosses are what gives that game its identity. It ain't it if they were nerfed. Strategizing where to start is a fun thing to do. I miss those TXR3 days, when I used to grind for the Gemballa GTR750 (an uber 911) before meeting those three Supras of Nagoya.

If only this new game hits the consoles...

My brother who is a fan of the Daihatsu Copen wanted to buy the special model of the wanderer "Trance Drive" which has 204hp. It is in fact equipped with custom parts together with a custom tune.

Bonus: You can't sell special custom cars.

Are the custom cars upgradeable in any way? Noticed Midight Rose's 370Z has 360HP, wondering if it can be taken further than the RX-8?

No, unfortunately at the moment they aren't upgradeable, it would have been nice if it had been possible though.

You can't buy it to beat Melancholic Angel anyway, since it requires 13 million and the perk to unlock that is locked behind Cinderella (if at all available at the mo).

MXH

The problem is that there is no stronger, but heavier starter cars like the Chaser like in TXR3 which, lets you have a decent straightline car at the cost of cornering speed.

So I managed to push Highway Gambler out onto the Bayshore Line and uh

Well it was pretty funny

Don't think there's a legit way to beat him on this part at the moment, thankfully he sticks to the C1.
