Whoever, I'm thinking a totally text based thing like the photomode gallery owner interviews. Either that or we could just have a set grouping of questions.

Isn't it on right now? I think you are missing it.

It appears the UK just got off Daylight Savings Time :dunce:.

That reminds me of one episode they aired an hour early for some reason or other. Jeremy finished off the show by saying "To those of you just joining us, who didn't realize we were on an hour early... Hello! To the rest of you, see you next week!"

+Rep to Amar. And

Have I ever mentioned I love Gran Turismo? Every rendition, every game, I just love it more and more.

My only fear is; that with 700 cars to just play with I have only completed 50% in GT4. What will I do with 900 cars in GT5? I'll probably never manage to go online because I will be checking out all the different cars.

The way I look at it, excessive content in an online game makes the community exciting to participate in. If it is difficult for any one person to experience every possible bit of content it becomes much more realistic in certain aspects. It's nice to be able to talk to someone when they can mention what they've been doing in the game and etc. and it could potentially be something you haven't heard of or thought about.

Brilliant episode, also. Jeremy driving around in that little car through the BBC buildings and such cracked me up to the point of tears.

Community wise excessive content is truly awesome. I was thinking more about racing online. If I rarely take time to actually participate in a race now because I am too busy playing with different cars and whatnot when will I decide to go online to race?

Of course, there is always the chance that the online racing will be so much more fun that I will spend less time messing with cars.

I really hope PD consider putting the Peel P50 in GT5!

Slow cars are fun if they are on very small track. Tight cart style track with lots of elevation changes would be fun.

^^ I'm not really sure what range of job titles GTP members have, but there are some "Thread Necromancers" around. ;)

They should seriously rethink heating the atmosphere around that game. Maybe total silence would be better strategy for GT title, because every single piece of information is treated like news about global world disaster. It's now tired of digging through all of them to get some valid info.

As i know for sure Top Gear track will be in GT5, but no pictures no any new news are released. Instead of that we see Nordschleife movies. 👎 :grumpy: borring

Hehe, now everyone wants to race the Stig and beat his times.

Norschliefe is cool and all, but sick of seeing the Gullwing. I was happy I saw it at the F1 in Melbourne... but need more variety in GT5 videos.

Im not sure it will be easy, they say we go faster in sims because theres no fear of crashing, theres nothing to hit on the top gear test track and look at his lap in the ccx where he did go off, no fear whatsoever. Will be tricky imo.

It still plays a factor, race car drivers are trained to suppress it, they can't eliminate it. Not to mention a large open area just means more barrel rolls before you hit something.

Plus, in a video game you are playing in the optimum conditions at all time, this never happens in real life.

I'm not saying they will be easy, but they aren't going to be the most difficult thing either.

Stig gives a lesson on the Top Gear test track
by Zach Bowman (RSS feed) on May 24th, 2010 at 5:58PM

It's time to do your homework, kids. The blokes at Top Gear have built a virtual representation of the Stig's personal playground. If you've got some time to kill, head on over to the site for a turn-by-turn breakdown of the UK show's test track, including the elusive history of each corner's name. The virtual track will even let you in on which gear you should be in for each section should you ever find yourself as a star in a reasonably priced car.

Even if you don't see your acting career thrusting you the public consciousness anytime soon, there's still a chance you'll be able to have your way with the track. A rumor dusted up last month that claimed Polyphony Digital now holds the rights to test ground's in-game representation, which means that should Gran Turismo 5 ever decide to drop into stores, the PlayStation universe will be breathing down the Stig's neck.

TG's virtual track also features a couple of other neat tricks, including a "Stig's Eye View" that allows you see what the perfect line should look like. You can even pick whether you want to view the track through the windshield of an econobox or a genuine supercar.

Im faster in the real thing because you can feel what the car is doing.
