You're right, i need to race with my MR , for the sport, and the sensation...... Great car, i'm shure i can go low 3'38" offline. Let's drive.:)

Untill we don't have "settings sheet which allows you to save multiple car settings", i'm working on my tune with 2 cars , online, and this method more the ghost offline allow me to make some fantastic progress.
I thought i was very optimist targeting a low 3'38" offline and 3'40"online , but i 've reach a 3'37"136 offline and 3'39"online.
I discover that with MR car on this kind of track , ride height is the key. Very low or mid low ride height is not good for the grip of the car . It let the direction very responsive and with a good precision but a not very good grip.
With low or very low ride height the problem is that if you want to have more front grip ,you will loose the rear more easy. The solution was to increase the height to 0 or little + value. At this moment i could decrease front spring a little , decrease also the front rebound to give more course, without loosing the rear. It help so much that i could also run with half rear downforce and consequently increase the power.
Hope this can help some people that is tuning MR for the shootout too.

Increasing the ride height and softer front spring allow me now to do 11 laps eating tires only by the half. after warm up lap, 3 laps 39" + 3 laps 42" + 3 laps 45" + 3 laps 48". And it was still very drivable, slow but drivable.

I know what car you're using. ;)

Found another car to use that I think is better than the Celica I first tried. Also tried out the track and got a 3:59 first time in the Celica and a 4:07 in my better feeling car...to be honest I'd much rather have something that feels good but isn't fast than a fast car that doesn't feel good.

I agree, If your fighting the car the whole time, It's harder to be consistent. I find if I'm more comfortable in a car that's a few second's slower Then a car I'm fighting, I'm faster when it come's down to tires.
Although I have noticed FF has a massive advantage over FR Online. Offline My RX-7 ran a 4'00 and my Civic ran a 4'03. Online My RX-7 ran 4'03 and my Civic ran my quickest time of 3'59.

Threes no way a FF car is faster than a FR car online. FF chew through tyres like there's no tomorrow.

My FR's are chewing through tire's just as bad. No matter what I cant get my FR's to hook out of corners. I have had no problem with my FD2 though.

I've now bought a new car which I'll be trying at 500PP - Lancia Delta HF. Don't know if it'll beat my (this is the car I was using before) FTO GPX for driving feel but I'll be damned if it ain't faster. Again though, I'm not going purely for speed but rather the best feel, so at least the testers can feel happy driving it.

Hmm interesting.

Your FD should be running at least in the 3:40s

What the fd2? Civic?

I'll give my dc5 a go later. I'd be shocked not to be under 4mins.

Yeah, But after the other night watching you race SuperG, I know your about two time's the driver I am. Plus, Like I said earlier, I'm not the most advanced Tuner.

My FD2 Civic has a 416PP. It's not the most powerful car.

Read that wrong, I have an FC, Not an FD. It's the '91. It has 467PP.

Agh ok that makes more sense now. I assumed your cars were 500 pp. My bad, sorry lol.

Not quite that high, Sorry for the Confusion.
I have had good luck with my FD2 on this track though. I figure I can push alittle more power toward's it and be around 3'50. That's where I'm aiming for it to be with around 450PP.

For Cizeta- Ive been tuning a Lancia Delta for a while now @ 500 pp and for some unknown reason its slow at this level. I cant explain it.

I would've gone for an FD2 if the NSX turned out to be banned. A well-tuned FD2 is no slower than some of the more popular RWD choices. I actually think it has a slight edge over the DC5 on some tracks.

Your FD2 Civic really clocked a fast time for the PP it has!!

Probably because it needs quite a lot of modification to get to 500PP. Cars that start closer to it stock tend to do better in terms of speed.

^^ Correct. Anyony tried the Audi R8 its 498pp stock ? I cant bring myself to do it.

R8 4.2 is 515 stock ????
The M3 CSL is fast too , but i need one without engine stages. My car have stage 3 and power limiter is too bad for HP, but even like this it's a 1'41"car.
