Okay the touge track for this shootout is now shared for those who have yet to add TimberW to their friends list.👍👍

Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 -16 EVO II '91
Maximum modification (16,380 miles) 491PP, 381HP, 1115kg, no aero kit available, no close ratio gearbox available. 4:24 green lap with tons of time left on track using Sports Hard tires.:D
Now that the little boy Benz has had a chance to play time to check some serious MB contenders.:sly:

I'm still letting B-Spec break in my NSX so there's no issues with hitting 500PP. Seems the close-ratio gearbox provides decent acceleration but it goes through the gears too quickly. Even though it's for touge it kinda bugs me. Might go back to the stock gearbox.

Hi , i'm trying now to download this track but how can i do, i don't see it anywayXdesperados or your room only have Alaska track???:)

If you go to my profile in GT5 (where you'd see my shared cars), on the left pane there's a track icon, click that and it should have a shared track for you to download. 👍

Once you select me under either profile or community click on the track icon in the lower left corner of the screen. Should show the touge track there for you to select and download.

The button shows up as "Course List" its the bottom button in the second row on the main GT screen. Right under your buttons for your garage, B-Spec drivers, and Music. The museum button is the bottom button next to it.

Thanks, i'm doing it now. Will begin to test right now... hahaha like a kid with a new toy :)

I first called on a Celica ST185. Rapid acceleration but I haven't tested on the circuit itself and the gear ratios for both trannys might be too short for it. And I'm running with no downforce, the handling though seemed sweet enough without it, although there was a bit of understeer with the setup I gave it.

I'm 4'09" second lap with my secret weapon:scared: but the track is very good , need to learn it perfectly before to tune really on it. It will take time, lot of blind turns.
Excellent track for 500p cars, perfect, congratulations.

Really suggest the following car be removed from the list of eligible cars!
Nismo GT-R LM Road Going Version '95
Way I have it set for testing currently it only has 328HP and weighs a chunky 1348kg but with 35 front downforce and 43 rear downforce on sports hard tires I blitzed the track on my first lap with a 4:01.
Exploration of how much of that downforce is actually needed could see HP jump into the 400+ range with an adjustment to ballast.

I guess Praiano is using a Peugeot 205 :D

The RS200 was born on tracks like this , shame I wasnt I have a few more to test but the Ford will take some beating for me.

Not Peugeot 205, i haven't test it yet, sure it will be good . But it's only my Stratos .... and it's fast.

From what I remember cars with adjustable aren't allowed. Just check with timber about that car. It's a car that I thought shouldnt be allowed either.

Good to see there is some interest from some good tuners here. I havnt seen the track yet so looking forward testing it tonight. With a 4 minute lap it sound like a huge track.

I think I'll join as a tuner this time. Finding a car for the job will be pretty fun I will say :sly:

*cough* Renault Alpine A310. *cough* :dopey:

According to the OP and the linked list of tuner cars its currently eligible. That said its going to be hard to find anything that can compete with that sort of aerodynamic advantage. Praiano is a much faster driver than me and when I can shave 7 seconds off his time with my first lap in a car that I've only barely tuned there is an issue. I checked and none of the other Nismos on the list of eligible cars have any adjustable front aero stock, so they shouldn't be a problem. Or at least not as much of one.

Put me down for tuner. I should be home in time to get something together

@timber, I'll see if I can get my daughter to send you a FR for me so I won't have to worry about it latter.

Okay, eyes back on the road

Yeah, I dont think that list has been updates since LOTS started. Timber is doing a lot of work on this so he probably hasn't had time time look it over for a while.

I remember at the start there was a bit of a stink up regarding cars with adjustable front aero so it got banned.

Here a nice car for this :

Which one of those is your decision :D

Oops...I may have spoken to soon.:dunce:
Just ran a green lap 3:54 in a car that there should be no reason to ban...:D
Sorry but ya'll have to figure out what this is by yourselves unless something else pops up for me that's significantly faster. I mean I'm a nice guy and all but there has to be a limit to my generosity right?:sly:

And you did that lap online?

I've run a 3:51 online and 3:49 offline, I'll be content with that until everyone else figures out their cars and the track :mischievous:

I managed 3:55 with broken front suspension and no rear grip online so I'm happy with that. I figure if I fix the tail-happiness it'll be able to run with the front guys. :D
