TOSS' Touge Tuner Shootout - Final Week Test Driver Time Attack

I think the number of tuners is fine right now, plus the testers have 2 weeks to test all the cars if you tested 2 cars a day each day for 2 weeks you could get 30 cars in, so I dont see the issue. There would be an issue if there were 10 tunes had to be in on x day and the testers had to be done with the tests 2 days later. But thats saying this right now when we have about 8ish tuners. I know I will be able to get all the cars tested.

As of now the number of tuners is fine,but with a couple entries I'm not sure I could give each car the time I need to get used to the tune. I'd like to make sure every tuner gets a fair chance so I kind of hope there aren't too many more tuners entering.

I remembered that one of the shootouts, someone made a pretty good spreadsheet which breaks down the time into seconds and calculates them again.

Hahaha..... you will like it, the track is fantastic , quicker than i was thinking to be accustomed. Very fun toscana road easy to learn , i'm like a kid.

b) Or because we're testing the Top 6 cars?

If it's (a), I can just tweak the rules to be the best & 2nd best total time and 2nd best time to be chosen for the online tournament.

If it's (b), I guess we'll need to sort this out with a different method.

I'm in for a tuner, I like the idea of Touge tuning but it would seem to me that the AWD cars will always have an advantage over other drivetrains on SH tires so shouldn't they be in their own separate class ? Just wondering if this has been questioned before.

This has been discussed in Legend of the Streets (LotS) before. As it stands we're not dividing into different drivetrains.

Due to the amount of interest for this shootout, the last day to register for Catergory B: Tuners is end of the week, which is 9th October.

That's an amazing time. I just did 4 laps and my best is low 3:40s. I can't possibly see someone doing low 3:30s. I don't know the track that well but 10 seconds will be impossible to find in the WRX.

No my friend ,no alien at all, when i race a cappuccino cup for example , i can see i'm right in the middle ,not so fast not so slow.....
I think it's something wrong with this car , anyone can check ,it's too fast.

S2000 '06, no aero ,only front spoiler.

There is no other as fast, when i 've said there were a second ,it was the same . The other one, i detune it to 500p in the garage but when i went out ,i forget to step inside it. So i run 1 lap with S2000 '06 again thinking i was already in the other car. I drive with roof vision and the collor were the same.

I wouldn't worry about MONSTAR, at the very least I know some of the people he's raced against, he can undoubtedly give any of us here a run for our money.

Amazing though, I never even thought of it. You do have a gift of finding super fast cars at any PP, my friend. 👍

For Catergory B: Tuners' Time, I'll be getting some regular LotS players to verify your time. Your time will have to be done online with another registered Tuner/Test Driver or Regular LotS player. There will be a one week window to take in the times. So this is the schedule at the moment:

Week 1
3rd Oct - 9th Oct = Tuner Signups / Test Driver Signups
9th October is Tuner Signup Deadline

Week 2
10th Oct - 16 Oct = Tuner Tuning Week / Test Driver Signups
16th October is the last day you must post your tunes on gtplanet.net
16th October is Test Driver Signup Deadline

Week 3
17th Oct - 23 Oct = Tuner Time Attack Week / Test Driver Starts
*Tuners must get their times verified online by either anotehr registered Tuner/Test Driver/LotS Player.
23 Oct will be the last day for Tuners to set their time.

Week 4
24 Oct - 30 Oct = Test Driver Final Week
30th Oct is the last day for Test Drivers to send in their times.
*Test Drivers don't need their times to be verified.

Ah i remember that race. 1 of my favs. Pretty much 1 of the 1st quick guys i had come across in Touge racing, Wardez is a great racer.
Yeah i crunched pretty hard there lol, Our tyres were smashed by that stage. Thought i might have hit him and thought that my car was finished and forgot it was a sharp turn.

Updated rules guys. The car cannot be more than 1 million credits and tuners must have 2 copies of the car.
One for themselves and the other to be sent out.
