Cool. Also why do I need 2 copies of my entry for this contest??

If it is a hard to come by car the testers may need to have a copy of the car sent to them.
As it's all being tested online the testers can't borrow with the sharing optioin the car they have to have one.

I've come to the conclusion that I suck at this track. I'm either too cautious or I'm mowing the spectators down. This is the sort of thing that makes me wish offline and offline had no changes in physics, or if online practice had a ghost car to follow. :ouch:

Very happy with my car though. Managed to get it holding the road properly and it's sodding fast, it's just me and my lousy driving skills holding it back. :dopey:

Learn the track offline first, 3 laps should be enough. Then go online and try. If it still doesn't work, let's have a race there. I seem to learn faster when there's a bit of pressure.

I already tried. The problem is, custom tracks have no landmarks, so I have no clue where I am half the time. It would honestly take me a day of practicing just to be decent at the track.

I'm in my lobby now if you want to bring something to race with. Aside from having damage off, it's the same conditions as described in the OP.

That's quite true about landmarks. But after driving quite a lot on the Toscana Custom Tracks, the certain types of corners actually look quite the same.

Don't worry, I was like that when I first took up this touge thing. (I still am like that, now) Just drive something slower to start with.

The only issue I have with custom tracks, and it's not exclusive to this one, is the incredibly short run off and incredibly solid, invisible walls. You should be able to drag a wheel across the verge without suddenly being pinged to the other side of the track..!! Lost count of how many times I've cut it too fine and found myself facing the wrong way. Maybe I should stop trying to run the guy down with the flag, if I figure a way off the track and through the invisible wall, I'm gonna squash him :mischievous:

Stick at it Roj, it's actually a nice track once you've been around it eleventy five times. There are only 3 or 4 corners now that I'm being a bit cautious with...

Shows how much I drive custom tracks.

Mhm, might have to.

I completely agree with you there. Although there's no large run-offs on touge's, it's a problem on tracks that aren't supposed to be touges.

I like the track, I just suck at it. :D

Honestly, I go to sleep, wake up and discover I've now got to find another 15 seconds :irked:

You Sir, need to slow down..!! :sly:

3'32" ;) was the time after another lap. I'll go down the 3'30" tonight, this is my goal. The car is fantastic, but more fantastic is the track. I think i make 40 laps yesterday, and passing 30 laps you begin to know it well. After this you can begin to check how to shave some seconds and there is a lot of options to do this. I'm having a lot of fun driving there, this is the perfect track for this pp range with sport hard tires.

Another good car for the track is the Audi TTS Coupe ’09

If I could get the existing registered test drivers to indicate to me their controller will be good. If you're using a wheel, please indicate the model of your wheel. eg: G25

Just posted the link for this to the F.I.T.T. current events list.

Also posted a bit of a rant in the F.I.T.T. thread. TimberW please don't take it personal your doing fine here.👍👍

Ive hit around 3m55s in 2 or 3 cars without finetuning. I dont think ill be anywhere near Praianos times.

Im loving the track especially the right kink at about the 2 minute mark.

Only with S2000 '06. second best car after this "AudiTTS Coupe ’09" is 3'40". Honda NSX Type R ’92 and Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) ’02 also have a good potential ,around 3'45". I think i'll need more 2 or 3 days to test all the possibles goods cars.
During this time ,i 'll share my experiences with everybody, it's too much cars and some people don't have time to review every cars.

No my friend ,no alien at all, when i race a cappuccino cup for example , i can see i'm right in the middle ,not so fast not so slow.....
I think it's something wrong with this car , anyone can check ,it's too fast.

S2000 '06, no aero ,only front spoiler.

There is no other as fast, when i 've said there were a second ,it was the same . The other one, i detune it to 500p in the garage but when i went out ,i forget to step inside it. So i run 1 lap with S2000 '06 again thinking i was already in the other car. :dunce: I drive with roof vision and the collor were the same.

I'am very sorry, i knew there was something wrong with this car, too fast , yesterday i don't know what happen, perhaps too much job during the day, too tired, i did not see (even checking the tune several times) that i was equiped with racing hard tires ... I know , it's the shame of the year for me...:ouch::ouch: , i look at those settings so much time during all those tuning sessions...... but i go sleep before discovering what was wrong, lot of job early this morning.
Today , i 've buy a new S2000 '06 to prepare my second car for the shootout, and when i go on track, impossible to repeat the yesterday time. Less grip....... when i went to the garage to check my first car ,i knew already what i will discover.... Racing hard tires !!! 👍

So that's it, i'm really sorry for this, let's continue looking for cars.

Have a good evening .

Post #2 will be the post to keep an eye on for the current registered tuners and test drivers.

We are expecting to hold the finals online tournament on either 5th or 6th November.

Songai Shinro will be a qualifying map to get into the finals. Songai Shinro has enough variety of corners and turns to cover a wide range of touge roads.

The online tournament group stage will run maps decided by MONSTAR and OSE_CAP_SHADOW. Each group will have different courses. Each finals participant from this shootout will have 1 week to prepare for the final online showdown.

For the finals, the course will favour the seeded player.

For example, if MONSTAR came out of the Group A and a Tuner from Group B, the finals map will be the map used for Group A.

In the case of both seeded players arising from the groups, the finals map will be decided by a coin toss. So either map from Group A or Group B will be used.

In the case of both seeded players not making out of the group stage, the finals course will be Songai Shinro.

Lol I knew something was wrong. I was thinking maybe you were testing offline but that still would be to many seconds to catch up.

Do you test online or off?

Last night I did a 1:39:xxx
But to find another 8 seconds is impossible on sports hards.

Yes ,it was too fast... :) , I tune online, but i drive offline also to check details with the help of ghost. I have a car at 3'41" that can go under 3'40" i think. But for the moment i just do some quick test ,still looking for cars.

I forget the name but the same one you are driving. The one that timber is sharing. Songa shino or something lol
