Touge Drivers Club | Organized Racing | 440PP/SH

Alright, I've added W.M.E. to the teams list. Due to the way the judge system works, a team must have at least 2 members before any of its drivers may enter a series. As the teams are supposed to be self-managed, it'll be your responsibility to expand your team from now on, Moore.

Also how are you going to regulate the transmission upgrade?
Unfortunately, there is no way to check for these kinds of things using GT5's spectator mode or replay viewer, so it's going to have to be an honour system here. It may be possible to tell whether or not someone is using the fully-customizable transmission by listening for the characteristic transmission whine, but it will be impossible to truly regulate power limiting and ballasts. (In case there are some of you that are unaware of this: you will not be able to use ANY ballasting weight at all to tune your cars in the TDC.)

And thanks for helping out with the tracks; I'll send you a message in-game once I've got something ready for you to download.

By the way, next time, when you have realized you have something to add to your post, you can click on the edit button to modify your post. It makes the thread easier to read and reduces clutter. ;)

Well, you're supposed to register individually for TDC membership before joining a team. But both of you have already registered, so you are already at that stage. Anyone who intends to become the leader of his team (leaders are responsible for managing their team rosters) should send me a PM including the name of the team. Once I get this, I'll add the team to the teams list. Whenever there is a change to a team's roster, the team leader should PM me the changes (using GTPF's PM system). All of this is explained in the first post, so don't worry about having to find this exact post if the rules change; the first post provides the most official and up-to-date information about the TDC.

And yes, it is a four player team limit. This might increase in the future, if the TDC grows large enough.

For those interested in joining a team based in the West Coast of the Americas, hannablemoore's W.M.E. (Winning Means Everything) is looking for members!

I'll likely open registration for Series 1-C at the end of next week. Either on September 3, or when at least 8 people have joined any of the teams--whichever happens first. Once the first series starts, be sure to check your GTPF inboxes at least once a week; the details of your series battles will be sent using the forum's private message system instead of the PSN's one. Hope to see everyone there!

Alright, sweet.

I would like to get a mock battle for sign up :) happy to see sports hard and comfort soft. My only confusion is where you state laps: 200..

Theoretically, a single battle could last an infinite number of rounds. In reality, you will never see anything beyond 10 rounds due to driver fatigue, but it's always best to be prepared and have more laps available than less.

well no one yet im thinking about try outs but there isnt much people in this series yet....im kinda open for tryouts but i still need rivals as we dont have very many people on the forum..yet

Various things have drawn me away from GT5 these past few days, but I'll definitely try to be online tomorrow for a few hours. Sorry to anyone who waited on me to conduct mock battles.

That said, registration for Series 1-C will open Sunday, September 4, 2011. Now is the time for everyone to join teams and for team leaders to gather members. Due to the way the judge system works, a team must have at least 2 members for any of its members to be eligible for series registration. For the same reason, unaffiliated TDC members will also be unable to register for any series until they have joined a team.

Does it matter if I register the Touge Riders from the GTTC to here?

I'm not really sure what you mean by that... You can recreate a team with the same name here, but everyone who joins it has to be already a TDC member.

Riding an AE86 and just getting back into the game, I'm on a new profile because I stopped playing for 2 months and deleted the old one. I'm up for something like this to make sure I keep excited about the game again, which I partially am already. PM me anytime to see me go I could really use some help.

i thing what he means can he bring his team in to this touge...but he can only bring 3 others he has to choose wisely on who he wants in. So he and three of his members will have to do a moc battle to join

Hello guys, I like the write up who ever did it for the rules & regulations. Very well done. I am considering in joining, so next time I see you Crossfade or Nightingale online, I'll give you guys a heads up.👍

Alright guys, registration for series 1-C will open tomorrow. So far, only 6 people are in teams. And of those 6, only 4 are in teams that contain at least 2 people. This means that, right now, only 4 people are eligible to enter a series.

I'm not sure if people have just lost interest in this (and I wouldn't blame you; it's been pretty stale so far without any official battles to do), or if hardly anyone reads the first post, or if the self-managed team system just isn't working. I know I haven't been online very much this past week, but that doesn't explain why hardly anyone has joined a team. Could I get some feedback here? I want to make this fun, but I'm not sure how at this point.

Sorry guys, getting back online is taking longer than expected. Turns out my ps3 system is corrupted somehow :( I already sent it to get repaired. I apologize to those who require registration. I'll be online within two weeks for sure. Meanwhile, I'll be checking up on this thread to see how everything is going :)

If someone has streaming equipment and a Justin.tv account that would help and bring an ungodly amount of people into it. But hey you just asked for suggestions and I'm tossing them out, thats an easy 100+ ppl that will join though if that happens, just saying.

I was concerned more with the fact that of 16 people, only 4 did anything to prepare for registration. With 100 people, the TDC would be much larger than I had ever intended for it to be; it would require online databases, automated forms, its own website, and so forth. Thanks for the advice, though.

Speaking of which, registration for series 1-C is open now. How long it stays open will depend on how many register. I'll try to be online today to sort out registrations.
