Touge Drivers Club | Organized Racing | 440PP/SH

Badboy, genko, asdfg, Chivan, I'll be online today to do some mock battles. Thanks for being patient.

damn, still have no reliable internet at my new apartment... hopefully i can get online today and run another mock battle

If any of you that were in the room just now are reading this, sorry about the wait. Having router problems right now. It could have overheated, but I'm not sure. Sometimes it behaves like this for no discernible reason. I'm trying to fix it right now, but if it turns out to be an ISP problem, I will have no idea when I can expect to be online again.

Don't sweat it, because it happens to me as well. :grumpy: Sometimes it takes days for it to return back, and I have to call the service company and talk to those people for a hour. Glad to see you've made it back in such a short period of time, also thanks for the prompt psn-mail.👍

The question is, when will it start to get underway?
That depends on how quickly people register for the series. So far, we have two drivers registered in 1-C (Shadow and Mopar), but I would like to have at least 8 in before the series starts. When and if the first series begins depends entirely on whether or not the unaffiliated members join any of the teams and decide to register for a series...

Oh, I must have not written the first post clearly enough then. Maybe that's why hardly anybody's in a team lol.

Registering for the TDC and registering for a series are two different actions; after passing a mock battle, the unaffiliated TDC members are supposed to join a team, and then sign up for a racing series to begin doing official battles. It is a bit complicated, but I could not think of a better way to ensure the judges would do their jobs, so this is how it is at the moment.

Once you're in a team, registering for a series is pretty simple though; just PM me your choice of car (exact) and induction type (exact).

Over the next few days, I'll be working on getting the course pics up so everyone knows where the start and end points are. I've been procrastinating far too long on that task...

Ok cool man. I'll get the car specs from the other members and pm you a bit later.

I'm testing out a few cars within the PP limit to see which one suits me best ><
Can I get one of the courses to test it out or to test the cars? :embarrassed:

Sure. Right now, only Ginkyou Line and Sekigahara are up. You can download them from the distributors. Just check the first post for details.

Alright xD
But the servers are in maintenance..
Guess I'll get them tomorrow.

EDIT: Nvm, they seem to be up now. o.o;

Feel free to check out the T-Spec Garage (formally Touge-Spec Performance Tuning) and try out any of our setups

We carry diverse setups of a broad PP range. In turn, all we ask of you is a short review to promote the efforts of the Touge community on GTPlanet.

Link to the Tuning thread in sig.

Anyone in need of a touge racer? Could the leaders of an available team PM me if there any openings. Merci beaucoup.

Sorry to do this to everyone, but I am going to have to drop the TDC; my interest in GT5 has pretty much died, and for the past two weeks I have only turned on my PS3 to do mock battles. I've played the game a lot since it first released, and I think I need a long break from it before I can begin to enjoy it again.

Of course, somebody else is welcome to take my place as chairman if they like, if there is enough demand to continue the TDC. I don't know if anybody would want to deal with all the work, though.

Again, sorry everyone.

Ooo man... that's unfortunate to hear. I still didn't get to do any mock battles yet! I'll be still watching this thread in case there's some activity happening.

man, was really looking forward to this. well, sorry to hear the TDC is now defunct though i wouldn't mind taking the helm with the help of my fellow Touge drivers.

my internet situation is still iffy. but, would anyone volunteer to help make this happen alongside myself?

personally, i think teams need to be further established before this can work. a Touge sub-forum would also smoothen things out a great deal

Yeah a touge sub forum will get the ball rolling.

I had a feeling this might not go ahead. But it's still a good idea, maybe someone can rearrange it and make it more appealing.

I had a similar problem when I joined a fan created Paradise City Police Department when Burnout Paradise was the game to have. The founder left and I took over as in-game police chief but interest was waning and it eventually died off. So I know what its like when things like this happen.

Sorry to hear that Night. I was really looking forward for this. My 440pp Integra was more than ready. It's a shame that things like this happen.

do we have a car registry or can we have more than one car like real people sometimes do?

Shame this is going to die, if someone helps me out with organising the TDC I may take over with a few people.
