Touge Drivers Club | Organized Racing | 440PP/SH

Actually it was said numerous times on LotS's official thread. Touge drivers use what we would call Sports Soft.

Anyway, I really don't think we should have a 520PP class. We don't want to clash with LotS.

I beg to differ, Soft tires are the likes os Falken Azenis-615, Goodyear Eagle F1 are medium compound, while Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 are a harder compound.
 
I see TDC to be more like Hot Version's Touge Showdown. And I wouldn't go past Sports Medium tyres.

To me, Sports Soft is like non legal semi slicks. And Sports Medium is road legal semi slicks. And Sports Hard to be high quality performance sports road tyres.

I agree on this viewpoint, plus if we are keeping the PP to 440 then I really think we should keep it at SH cause we'll be in slightly slower cars.

i have used D.O.T. slicks on a few of my cars before, sports tires are just competition tires in racing compounds sports soft does mimic a dot slick, but in my state its legal to run them on the road. in states like tennesse you can run real slicks on the road.
 
the 520pp class wouldn't clash with lotS' 500pp. its a seperate class, only OSE_CAP_SHADOW or some of the other front runners of lotS could compeat with a 520 in a 500 on sports hard IMO.
its mainly 440 but there is a 400 for people who want to touge with kei cars or classics like the s600 honda and a 520 for some who want to use a tuned up car.
 
Well I'm sure we've reached a consensus on tire usage. Only things left to figure out are how the teams will be organized, if any rules/regulations/restrictions (other than tires) need to be changed or modified.

I think everything is fine as it is. We just need someone to gather up the teams and do up a battle sheet and roster for 440PP Class...

And there has to be an appointed leader for the TDC organisation in my opinion.

the sooner we get this started the better. We need 3 or 4 teams and start having battles. as soon as we start posting videos and battle results people will start joining.

I just got bored of the game. Other than that, nothing in particular made me decide I would stop managing the TDC. I still check this thread every once in a while to see if my help is needed in continuing the TDC, though.
 
I'd be on more but, I've been working like crazy and going to school, I'm pulling 12 hour days Monday-Friday, plus working weekends too, I just don't have time to justify setting up my cockpit and playing for the 3 hours I get to myself a night.

I'm feeling you mood man as i've just hit that wall myself.....
I'm even doing one last season in LotS and then i'm just gonna help out with Touge stuff. I even started a fresh PSN and started the game again just for something to do :lol:
 
we don't have to get it perfectly set up before we start. We can fix problems as we go. Really we can start any time.
 
i'm waiting for people to post their teams and cars on the group thread i started so we can kick it off, i need info 440 class first.
