I might have to steal a setup from someone, seeing my best is a 1:30.656 and we're expecting 1:28's. >__>

I'm using Mikes set-up that is posted.

I've been messing about with the ballast and a curious thing happens when you shift the weight 18% to the back, it gives you an extra PP. Not sure if it's any better than leaving it in the middle though.

Who's about tonight for some racing?

Oh ok, I guess it's just me being slow then. 👎
Yeah, weight balance now affects your PP, so it probably is better having it at 18% to the back.
I'm up for more racing tonight, hopefully I can find my missing pace.

I have been chatting to my mechanics and we would like to keep the racing close. So what do we do about this?

Do we allow weight reduction and then increase it to 1330kg?

I think we have no choice but to allow it.

Feedback welcome.

👍

Does it give any advantage?

I believe it does. I'm not complaining I just want close racing.

Maybe one of you guys are willing to test it tonight?

I was going by your first post Jon, up till tonight I have been running defalut.

"The car is standard which is a great drive but as we can't police the upgrades of the cars we will have to keep it open but in my personal opinion standard is the way to go"

But I'll fit in with what ever you set out for the event. 👍

Phillip.

Ok, so I got a long ass weekend (Monday off) with not a lot planned which means I can stay up till crazy hours racing GT5...

How do I tune my RUF (installed parts) so I can show Tiggles how to drive properly?

Also send an Invite to my Small_Fryz psn name if you guys havnt already 👍

I will only use the GTP one if I really have to.. (normal has all my cars)

Cool, hope to see you on track Dion 👍

ps you can down load the track off GTP_Cpt_D if you add him

I think it's probably more to do with the other tuning parts that make the biggest difference.
I thought it was just a suggestion that we use a stock car, but my car was already tuned prior to this event. Also, it's something that you can never police, so the only way to get everyone to drive a stock car is by using the recommended cars.

I think we should use a recommended car for the next event. Although there's not a huge selection of cars, at least we know everyone is equal and we also don't have to fart about with a set-up.

Hopefully I'll be on tonight, but I've come down with some weird bug, so might just curl up in a duvet and watch the F1 practice.

👍

Nice, the RGT is one of my alltime favorites :D I'll definately check it out this weekend :)

Doing a weight reduction and then incressing the weight definitely helps make the car easier to drive but I don't care bring it anyway you want.
395 bhp
1330kg

Does anyone else think the RUF drives unlike any other car? It reminded me of driving the Elise; very unique.

Thinking of getting a bike then John/ And I don't think you need to max the car but if you do I reckon racing rubber is in order or min sport softs to handle the power/ low weight.
