But then there is lots of cars that you cant change colours like race cars. So to make 6000 ethier on average there is lots of colours or theres lots of cars still to be revealed.
 
05 LICENSE CENTER
The famous license tests are coming back. License tests require finishing a set course within a time limit. Again there are National B, National A, International B, International A and Super licenses are available. According tott eh clear time, you can get a gold, silver or bronze prizes. There are over 50 tests in total.

It will be interesting to see how many of the Prologue tests reappear. I’m of the view that tests such as the ten laps in the Mclaren will be assigned to the new mission/challenges section.

You know, that's odd, considering there's a rather large number of people in the Demo thread talking about how improved the AI is....

Rememeber, even if the AI is improved to keep them from hitting you as much, there's still nothing at all to prevent you from hitting them. No amount of AI can solve that. If you're being driven insane by collisions, while other people are talking about fewer collisions, maybe you need to check your driving line.

anywho, anyone else who has actually played the GT4 demo care to confirm my findings to shut these guys up once and for all? and if the only "sims" you have played are GT series and need for speed, please save yourself your comments, you wouldn't be helpful, but if any other readers here have played F355 challenge, GPL, LFS, GTR, RBR. etc. please share your opinions about AI.

listen up people, i don't have an agenda to put Gran Turismo down, i'm just posting my findings, i'm sorry if while i do this i offended some fans, wait... i'm not sorry, that'd make you a fanboy that can't take objective criticism. so if in anyway, i offended you by saying that GT AI sucks, or that lack of online sucks, while ignoring my positive comments on the game, well, screw you.

Dude... ****ING RELAX. Don't talk to me about it, go talk to the ones who are saying the AI is better. I'm just reporting it, I ain't makin' it up.
 
Yes please do relax...everyone is getting super worked out about a game, and demo for that matter, it's not even the final product. There isn't much room for anyone to say much of anything until the final game is out..
 
Arcade Mode (Arcade Mode - Simple way to enjoy racing)​


If GT Mode is for simulating the car life style, then Arcade mode is for having fun racing. Buying a car, collecting money etc... is not needed here. Simply choose a car and track you want and off you go. There are 4 modes: Single Race, Time Trial, Multi LAN battle and 2P battle.

Single Race
Choose the car you want to drive and course you want to race on. The CPU cars will join and the race will start. The difficulty can be set from EASY, NORMAL, and HARD. The race starts from standstill in last position, and the aim is to finish 1st.

Caption(L): If you are confident in your driving, try HARD difficulty. Your rivals are going to be fast!

Caption(R): Crossing the finish line in 1st place in the last lap is the goal. (well duh)

Time Trial
The difference between this and Single Race is the fact that there are no CPU cars. No set number of laps to do, this mode can be used to learn new courses or try to set a new record. Ghost replay cars are also available. Use the provided features to acheive a best lap.

Caption(L): There are no annoying cars, so this mode is perfect for learning courses.

Caption(R): Rolling start. Its possible to get a best lap on your 1st lap.

Multi LAN Race
Connect PS2s together using LAN cables and play against others. It requires multiple PS2s and TVs, but would make the battle more intense as each player has their own screen. According to Mr. Yamauchi up to 8 players can race at the same time. Of course, more players could be possible. More information will be available in later issues of Sabure Magazine.

Caption: Take your PS2 and TV to your friend's house and have fun racing. Its difficult to set up, but a race with human opponents is always exciting.

2 Player Battle
This mode allows 2 players to play on a single monitor. Its much easier to set up than Multi LAN, but not as immersive. If there is a gap in skill, try changing the types of cars, or use cars with different powers. Experience the fun not possible against CPU opponents.

Caption: You only need one TV and one PS2. Show your friend how much you've been training!

I really like that Multi Lan mode! :embarrassed: 👍 8 players at the same time! I think that making an 8 player lan party is difficult to pull off in a house. Eight 20+ TV, 8 PS2, 8 controllers, 8 GT4s. :crazy: No way those all are going to fit in the average size room. Gotta put them in seperate rooms! 👍

I am wondering, are any of you guys thinking about having a 8 player GT4 lan party when GT4 comes out? :embarrassed:

ok, lets look at this, you were calling me a liar in a nice way, with out any real proof to back up those claims, other than "others said" unless you're able to confirm this foryourself, don't go out "reporting" stuff that you don't even know is true. that is all i ask.

Before I begin, I'd like to say that I'm NOT here to argue, so fear not. Okay, let's see what this young Houstonian has to say about this...

Alright. I dig the "GT Life" deal. You know, your house, some "towns," secondhand car dealers, and of course the good ol' racin' action. And it's nice to know that I won't have to have the car follow this trail as I try to shoot it. So it seems like I could be able to take a sweet car and flash a brother some photos, you know, homie? So let's say I want to take a picture of the sleek and sexy Jaguar XJ220 and, uh... have New York City in the background. Thanks to PD, that can be arranged. Click - beautiful picture. A Kodak Moment waiting to happen. But when I'm sick of dealing with jive turkeys on the track, I figured I'd give Arcade Mode a holler. And it sounds like it's going to be more fun than in GT3. The big difference? No I-Link.

So overall, I like this deal. So far, nothing about GT4 has me being skeptical except maybe the high score thing. Other than that, can't wait for it! So I'm like CobraGT here by saying "bring on GT4!"
