I assume he meant whichever was the premium production model from the dealership, which I assume is the '06 you are referring to. Adrenaline, typo!

Times are submitted.

I tested on Fuji Speedway GT. Top three tunes were less then .2 seconds apart. All tunes were within 1.2 seconds of one another. Only tune that I thought was odd was tune B, it's transmission was very different from the other tunes. Tune B was also the slowest for me only because I ran on Fuji and would hit the redline after passing start/finish line. After trying the other tunes it looked as though I was lossing 10 to 12 mph going into the hairpin at turn 1. Tunes C, D, and E were all very close with tune D just edging out the other two.

Hope the other testers submit their tunes soon.

Whichever is the Dealership available, I had '05 written on this pad of paper, if it's in fact the 06 I apologize.

Based on the first driver entries, current point tally for the Xanavi Nismo Z:

NTwo is spelled NTwo, not NTWO. :P

Glad to see him doing decently though... Maybe I'll finally be able to convince him he can get away with doing this somewhere near full-time

Hopefully someone ran Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, or the Nordschleife or I'm screwed... lol. I knew going into this mine would not fair so well at Fuji, Suzuka, or Tsukuba with their flat non-cambered corners.

Ummm I have a slight problem with the online lounge lol and I'm interested to know how you guys did it.

Basicaly my problem is that I have trouble to write down time, let me explain, once I set up a new best, I have to pause to write it down. And well in online it's not possible, so it means that my next lap time gonna be bad. How did you guys managed that ? Is there a way to see my 3 best times at the end of the free run pratice ?

Well. that's who it is unfortnately. I always hope I screw a lap to write down times ;)

Haha well, yeah but Tsukuba is too slow... but I will take a look at the laptimes on both to make a choice. I like Rome the best from the city courses so it is a option!

Tsukuba is a short/slow track, but I actually think its a great test for the SuperGT cars, especially the NSXs. They're a handful at lower speeds b/c the rear grip can get lost in an instant. A good tune will really shine on Tsukuba letting you know how much the handling has truly been improved. However, I think Tokyo is a perfect track for these cars too. They just seem to be born to run there and a good tune will definitely shine there as well. Just my 2 cents...

Ok, I for now I have tested the Xanavi Z on Tsukuba and High Speed Ring! I really try to do an other track until tomorrow... any suggestion on an other track that is around 1 minute and would make my testing complete? As Tuskuba is technical and the High Speed Ring very fast...

Tsukuba is technical in layout; however, it is not technical in surface variation and banking. If you want to do another quick batch of tests, then I suggest Autumn Ring Mini.

Mini? As I see the difference in laptimes between the two is not that big and I think I could do Autumn Ring normal, that would be better no? Only problem I'm not really familiar with the track anymore... what about a Cape Ring variation? Which would be best? Surely not the complete Cape Ring it's too long... or Grand Valley East? Nürburgring GP/D or GP/F (both maybe a bit long?)... very short is Suzuka East but it looks weird... Madrid looks interesting too! Argh :ill:

Edit: Ahhh now I see what you mean with Tsukuba it's all very flat, so I should run something technical and bumpy...

Small differences tend to make huge differences at Autumn RIng Mini; though, despite its short length, the complexity more than makes up for it. I call it the half mile Nordschleife.

I'm sorry, like I said I have some trouble atm and I wont be able to participate anymore for the time beeing. I might come back at some point but for the moment I dont have anytime to play anymore.
Really sorry about that.

You don't have to apologise, there are more important thinks in life!

It appears as if we need to recruit more drivers.
Due to the moved deadline from Monday to Friday and conflicts with my RL plans this weekend, I won't have the results up until Monday night. Also working on some spreadsheet issues to reflect the new timing/points system.
Hami, your NSX tune is confirmed.
Enjoy your weekends.

Counting myself... 3.
Although Jeramy sent me an email saying his will be in soon, so I'll wait for him, making it 4. Thankfully Basilea turned in times for 3 separate tracks, so it's technically 6.
More worrisome is the lack of NSX tunes submitted. I don't think we'll do 2 cars a month anymore. I'd encourage tuners to submit their NSX tunes, even if late and we'll say I didn't notice, because I didn't check my emails because of the reasons above ;)
That's not a wink at all... Someone messed up the smilies!

2 driver times still to be added to this.
Due to the low driver count, if tuners want, I can mirror what Basilea did, and test on multiple tracks, but it will mean final results will be delayed a few extra days.

I was somewhat planning on entering my tune last second.
But, I've had a headache for the past 36 hours and think I'm sick, finding it really hard to even play anything. So I think I'm going to have to sit this one out for sure, since my head feels dead right now.

Well that's fine, mine was last minute and probably suffers for it anyways... if fubar'd with few tunes and few drivers, just cancel this half round. :ouch:

Adrenaline - Just give people more time with the Raybrig and find more drivers. I'm not sure why we'd move to a different car when some of us have already submitted or at the least, done some tuning. There have been a number of new people showing up in the thread over the last few weeks. Maybe send them a PM and invite them to become test drivers?

I think also for the time being we should go back to predetermined test tracks until we get more drivers. A few minor tweaks can made to tunes to make them work well on one track or another, especially camber, which can either slow you down or speed you up depending on the camber angles of the track corners. If most of the drivers end up running tests on tracks like Fuji, Tsukuba, and Suzuka then the tunes with higher degrees of camber will suffer; so at the very least we need to be able to submit some track specific sub-tunes or just predetermine the tracks.
