You can practice anytime you like. No room number just go to gtlife screen and click on the community tab and then find the Turtle Town lounge and click on that then finf the coffee cup click there and join the room.👍 We dont race in the open lobbies.

We have official practices on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm Eastern. Welcome to the Turtle Racing League! 👍
 
Thanks for the tips. It seems I misread the entry rules. all I use is abs, any chance I could skip to div. 3 instead? Also, there's nobody currently in div A lounge, can I bump it to cape ring (is that still the next race?)

Yes, you can change the track to Cape Ring. We will put you in Division 3. 👍
 
Great race last night guys. I'm sorry about the start of lap one! Shifter in second so I just bogged off the line. Then I get going and try to run down the track edge and hit the grass just as I started braking and that threw me into a spin thru turn one backwards! Great! Luckily I ghosted and didn't smash anyone! Once I get the ship righted I'm in 12th or so.. Bye bye pole (which was a great battle for top time with Martin! I never ran that fast!) Battle back a bit, take a pit on lap 9 to maybe get some track position. I get to 3rd once pits are thru and run a few great laps with TX, which he finally gets around and takes p3. I was glad to get 4th!

Then second race I just tried to keep a clean line and GO!

The car was great, sounded awesome love the look and handles really like a dream! I want one in black fo realz.. Lol

Great clean racing everywhere! Good job everybody!

Now onto 4.3 miles of cape ring! Tire wear is already a problem for me. ;/

Great racing last night. The second race was much more exciting for me than the first. Battled my way up to 5th and had a great battle with FFK. I think I could have gotten up to battle Mic but ended up tapping the back of FFK around lap 14 or 15 and going off track which resulted in a penalty. Sorry about that FFK. As it was I ended up 4th and got to participate in TRL's first full lounge.

7th overall isn't bad for a first timer, but I still need to work on my driving skills after looking at last night's replays of my driving. Expect to see me at the practices for the upcoming races.

I tend to brake early on that turn, so that I can really go on the inside of the track, which is probably why you ended up hitting me.

The car listed for the next race is a race modification Camaro Ss 10. Are you saying that I have to keep the factory settings after doing the race mod?

Yes, there is no tuning. We use the "tuning prohibited" filter for all our races. Break it in (200 miles), change the oil, and it's ready to race.
