TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX Racing Series - ACCEPTING MEMBERS!

You know about the magic smoke Psycho. I think your wheel just about let it out on a rally night not to long ago.

I will be hosting practice tonight at 9:30 PM EST in Turtle Town after F1 practice. We will be driving 2 different karts, on 2 different tracks:

Kart: Racing Kart 100 Tokyo Bay Kart (Sections 5 - Complexity 10)
Kart: Racing Kart 125 Eifel Kart / Time change (Sections 2 - Complexity 10)

See you on the track.

This may seem like a stupid question, but do the karts have the same ~200 mile engine break-in the other cars have? :dunce: Not that I plan to get two karts to 200 miles. That would just be crazy.

Race Recap

Someone lost a car door or both should have been the theme. Three - 30 minute rally races in the premium WRC cars in snow/dirt/rain. Round 1 had Dolph running away from the field while martin and ph1sher had a good battle going for much of the race. Psycho, Randy, and Mbobb tried to catch back up by reducing their weight but couldn't get a consistent flow in the snow. Round 2 was where martin felt at home, in the dirt. After a pile up on lap 1 the race went smooth. Getting the lead early in the race and never looking back. Although Dolph was never far behind, Martin had the speed to keep him out of his rear view mirror. Round 3 was a slippery mess early on. With nearly everyone having trouble in the beginning S's. Everyone that is except MBOBB who was able to take advantage of the carnage behind him and get an early lead. Dolph was able to regain his composure and had the lead by the end of the lap. After that it was good-bye, gaining time on every lap. Good fun racing by everyone. Thanks for coming out.

Not stupid at all. I do believe you will get a few hp but I'm not sure how many miles it takes.

OMG, those pictures are great. And I have NEVER seen a wheel come off. That is spectacular!

I haven't laughed that hard at GT5 pictures in a long while. Those were great! Just about every picture had some sort of carnage in it. It's a good thing those cars were pretty forgiving, physical damage wise. Visually, I'm glad they weren't.

Welcome to Flex Racing Series! Look forward to seeing you on track.

These randomly created tracks are weird. The first one I generated, at Sections 5, Complexity 10, was practically an oval. I didn't have to lift at all through any corners. I thought, well this is boring. Hopefully it will be more fun with multiple karts out there. So after doing around 20 minutes, I left the track to create a new one. This generated one however, with the exact same settings, was much, much harder. It had three hairpins or tight corners and a multitude of other turns. How could the tracks vary so greatly with the same number of sections and complexity?

I too have wondered on how the complexity could very so much with the same settings. But I guess thats the fun of it. Not knowing what will come up on race night.
