Hey Guys. I know some of you may have already read this in the Enduro Series, so this is just a further post for those who may not be a member of the Enduro Series. I am here to report some sadness, but possibly some good news too. I am going to have to drop from the Turtle Racing League as a whole. I am having a schedule change at work, and because of it, I am not going to be able to compete at all with you guys. If any of you have seen my previous posts about my shifts at work, you will see that I was previously on an opening shift, which made it tough for me to still be up and aware by the time we actually raced on Friday and Saturday nights. Now I am shifting to the complete opposite, where I will now be closing, so I will still be at work when you guys are wrapping up the races for the night and heading over to the turtle town lobby for the after race cool down. The only nights I have off now will line up with practice sessions, so its not really worth it to me to stay in at this point.

I'm still planning on staying updated on you guys, and hope to come back and race again soon, but I will be on this new schedule for the foreseeable future, so I have gone a new route to still allow me to get my league racing fix. Announcing the MCCS: Multi-Class Championship Series! as it states in the title, it is a multi-class series, which allows for multiple classes on the track at the same time, so that everyone can learn from each other, and still be competitive with drivers of a similar ability level. we also have a NASCAR only Division, which will trade out races on a bi-weekly basis, allowing for 2 Division championships occurring simultaneously, as well as an overall championship race for those who race both Divisions. Feel free to check it out. I'd love to have the company, and we should have a full schedule posted soon, as well as updated details regarding expected cars for the upcoming season.

10-4. Was wanting to watch the F1 series, but maybe I'm not a member of the Div 1 lounge and that's why I can't see it. Any help is appreciated.

Hey sonusfaber, when you join the FLEX Racing Series you will only get Turtle Town and Division X. If you join the Enuduro Racing Series you would get all the rest of the divisional lounges.

Cool. I have one last question and I should be good for a while.

Do not tune them in any way. Races are "Tuning Prohibited" however, the "Tuning Prohibited" filter allows for changing brake balance, torque split, engine limiter, and adding ballast.

This confuses me the way it is written. Is this meant to say then even though you could technically enter a race after adjusting brake balance and torque split we still should not? And even though we can, we are not supposed to tune anything what-so-ever, except for putting on tires? Or does it mean we can adjust those 4 things listed in the quote? Thanks.

It is 3 things now. At some point adding ballast if you did not move it may not have been filtered. Now it is, so I just removed it. It means it is not considered tuning when you change those things listed, so yes, you may change them if you wish.

Not that my dad could fit in that rig, but he would enjoy it nonetheless. He's had some nice cars before I was born. A Trans Am; Olds 442. My mom has had a '65 Mustang convertible; Plymouth Baracuda.

Then again I may be older than some of you. Oh well, nice rig. I called a junkyard today about a seat purchase. Will be doing that after I get a house with a third bedroom. For now, just have to stick with the wheel stand.

So for the hairpin at Chamonix, I'm guessing you probably don't want us intentionally getting up on the outside of the track? I know, unintentionally, we'll be getting up there plenty. But I assume you probably want us to stay on the course if we can.

I'll be out for a bit. My monitor had a mounting hole stripped out and it wobbles everyone I hit a rumble strip. I was afraid it would eventually come off so I had to send it off for a replacement. 4 business days to get there, however long it takes them to send a replacement, then 4 business days back. Mailed it on Wednesday. :/ hope it's out there and back before I know it

Seeing car doors laying on the track was when I laughed the hardest. Those races will stay in the memory bank for a long time. Thanks for inviting me to join this league it's outstanding!!!

Yes, there were many car parts laying on the track during the races. I had a nice laugh when I saw that. Also in the first race, I couldn't help but chuckle when Martin managed to hit the inside of the hairpin some laps in and I plowed into his side. Then the exact same thing happened to ph1sher in turn 2 in the second race, including me hitting his front end. It was deja vu all over again. Finally, in turn 3 (I think it was) in the final race, I'm pretty sure all of us managed to slide off the track, resulting in pandemonium.

That was a ton of fun. Nice job on the win in the second race, Martin. 👍 I could not keep up with you.

Thank you much!! In the winter it's extremely cold in my basement. When it was 20-30 degrees outside, my space heater managed to get it to 48 degrees lol I've spent many nights down there with numb toes!!! I broke down about 2 weeks ago and bought a better heater. It gets into the mid 60's. and if I run both space heaters it throws a breaker lol I'm stuck playing skyrim upstairs until my monitor comes back from repair, which is hopefully next week

Hey guys, I got a call from my real estate agent Saturday evening and we are moving into our new house April 1st. We thought it was going to be May 1st but the people decided to move out early. Great for us but a lot of work to get ready this week. So looks like it'll probably be 2nd week in April before I can race again. After the move the next week every evening will be hanging curtains and pictures and rearranging furniture after work you guys know the drill. So this Friday ill be driving a 26 ft box truck instead of go carts,don't think it'll be as much fun. See you guys on the track soon.
