TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX Racing Series - ACCEPTING MEMBERS!

What?! We cant call you Its? Dang it. :)

Yea go for it. I've been called all kinds of things. Its. Itsall, Wins, allabout. You name it, I've been called it. We won't get into what my wife calls me. :d she still thinks my name is Its All About Twins. Thanks fuzzy tv!! LoL

Ha! Does she ask what kind of "twins" you prefer? And I'm sure you don't want any of us dudes calling you what your wife calls you.

No. More like, what kind of twins is it all about!?! She doesn't call me pet names. I was meaning the harsh stuff when I leave my spit cans laying around lol

Good racing tonight. A bit smaller turnout probably due to the holiday but good fun either way. That first race was intense for me. If you lost concentration for a second it could ruin the whole lap. Nice win Dolph. The second track had a great layout, I just wish it was a little smoother. I guess the bumps made it more challenging. Thanks to everyone who came out.

The racing was a blast and I loved those little Karts hopping all over the track. You never knew if it was going to stick when it landed. lol Being Good Friday and Easter weekend it isn't surprising at all that there was lower than the usual turnout.

I agree it was fun last night. I actually kind of enjoyed the bumps on the second course. Like Psycho said, when you came back down onto the pavement, who knew if you were going to have traction or be sideways starting to spin? Of course it made it that much more challenging. I think we all had our fair share of mistakes. Every time I would start to reel Martin in, I'd hit a curb which would launch me a couple feet into the air, put a wheel off and have to slow down to correct my car, or come off the bumps wrong. Eventually it was too much to overcome, with Martin winning by a good 25 seconds. Nice job! 👍 (Actually it had me winning by -25 seconds, which was odd )

I'm sure it would have been even more fun with a larger turnout. Dang holidays lol. Hope everyone has a great Easter! :)

It is 3 things now. At some point adding ballast if you did not move it may not have been filtered. Now it is, so I just removed it. It means it is not considered tuning when you change those things listed, so yes, you may change them if you wish.

So, it seems that adjusting torque split would mean we can buy a LSD. Is this okay? I just want to make sure I am on the same playing field as everyone else. I need all the help I can get just to lay down times close to you guys. thanks.

Sounds like the Karts were awesome last night, wished I could've made it! Looks like dolph won again, congrats man! And are you guys going to update the schedule or still gathering tracks and cars together?

Buying and equiping an LSD will not allow you to enter the track. With the tuning prohibited filter on the only adjustments that are allowed are:

Adjusting brake bias
Limiting engine power
Adjusting torque split on cars equiped with that adjustment stock (STi, EVO..etc)

Dolph won the first one and I won the second. He had the faster time than me in the first race by .03 and I had the faster time in the second race by .004. He qualified better so it looks like he gets the overall win.

I was wondering what the tie-breaker was? I don't mind either way if I win or lose. :) I had the pole for awhile, but liampage put down a great lap out of nowhere in qualifying near the end of the session. I had parked my kart to the side through about 10 minutes. I felt like I had a decent enough lap and with people spinning, it was difficult to not catch up and accidentally get a draft off another kart. :sly: I was also trying to keep within 24 or so seconds of you in the second race, in case the tie-breaker was the overall difference in margin of victory/defeat.

The upcoming schedule looks mighty interesting. Racing the 787B around the narrow Autumn Ring could get dicey. The mix McLaren MP4 / Ferrari 458 races were tons of fun, so I imagine this mixed grid will be very enjoyable too. I'm excited. :dopey:

Got Internet hooked back up yesterday so I'll be racing again Friday night. The 787B should be a lot of fun.Congrats Martin and dolph on your wins Friday night.

Yes, it is fun, and still surprisingly fast at 424hp. 👍

Does breaking in a car effect the torque? Even though we are limiting the hp, would a broken in car accelerate faster than 0 mile car?

hey not to late i hope, i want OIL paint with OIL rims

I'm not sure, good question.

It's never too late. I'm not sure what color OIL is but if you mean Black/Black you should be good to go. Please check the Driver's List and pick an unused number as well. And welcome to Turtle Racing!

Race Recap

We got lucky and had 2 very fun tracks generated for Karts. In Race 1 there were some very interesting battles early on with many passes made. As the race progressed and the field spread out Dolph took the lead and held it with better consistency then Martin. Shred beat out Psycho by just over 1 second(1.008) for third place and Liam had a few problems and ended up in 5th. Liam got Pole in race 1 and earned the extra point towards the final results. Race 2 was one of the best Kart tracks I've been on, but had a couple very challenging sections. Like race 1 the beginning had multiple position changes. This time Martin was able to take the win with better consistency over Dolph. Shred took 3rd over Psycho again but with a 3.432 gap this time. Liam was not able to finish Race 2 and took 5th place. Dolph and Martin tied for points in the final standings and each had a faster lap then the other. Dolph ended up taking 1st Place due to a better qualifying position then Martin. Shred-Tec locked up 3rd place over Psycho-Tuber by getting 3rd place in each race by a combined 4.44 second gap. Liam ended up getting 5th place. Thanks for coming out!
