This is a clean racing series, though not governed by the GTPlanet OLR, the same principles will be followed.

It is intended for everyone participating to show gentlemanly behavior.

Please consult The Good Racecraft Guide by VBR for more information.

Collisions and blocking on purpose aren't allowed.

Nudges, taps and small amounts of rubbing is generally accepted. However pushing a competitor wide and diving into corners to gain places will earn you penalties or in the worst case scenario, a ban.

Should you happen to cause someone to lose a position through poor driving, you are obligated to slow down and even stop to allow the affected driver to regain their previous position relative to you. Regardless of how many other drivers pass you during this time.

If a car does leave the track, it is the responsibility of that driver to rejoin the track only when it is safe to do so. Keep an eye on the mini-map and be aware of any cars approaching.

If you do Knock someone off track you must wait until they have safely re-joined and assumed their former position before you continue.

Two wheels on track at all times. The curb is considered part of the track.

Do not quit if you are loosing. It is a long race and anything can happen.

Remember, Gentlemanly driving, at all times.

All drivers will be responsible for their own pit stop strategy.

There are a maximum of 16 positions on the grid so book your place early to avoid disappointment.

There will also be limited reserve positions available.

Scoring
Points will be awarded from first to 10th place,

1st = 20 points
2nd = 15 points
3rd = 11 points
4th = 8 points
5th = 6 points
6th = 5 points
7th = 4 points
8th = 3 points
9th = 2 points
10th = 1 point

Additionally,
Finishing on the same lap as the winner = 3 points
Finishing 1 lap behind the winner = 2 points
Finishing 2 laps or more behind winner = 1 point

The race finish timer will be set to maximum after the winner crosses the line. Should you not finish within this time but have continued racing you will receive points for the position you hold when the timer runs out.

If you are disconnected during the race, you will be awarded points based on what position having a "Mechanical faliure" at that point would grant you.

If you retire from the race you will receive no points

If you feel the rules haven't been followed, contact the stewards:

CTR Driver,
Theewar,
Cpt.Disaster,
Weescotman.

here on GTP or via the PSN mailing service. as soon as possible, after the race end. Explaining when and how you think the rules have been breached, and your concerns will be looked into.

If you are interested in joining this series, please leave a message in this thread, stating your cars number, body and wheel colour

Maroon ?!!! I'll have you know it's Hibiscus Red Pearl Sir! :-)
Any hint on where to aquire said colour?

The wheels are BordeAux Pontevecchio and the body is GT6-Metalic 008...:drool: < same colour as him..
The former I don't have, so again, where do I get it? The later, you mean peuce surely. :sly: I'm fairly certain I have that one.

And finally @jammyrex, let me know your colours, unless you are using your defaults too. In either case a heads up on where to get them would be appreciated.

Why are the option tyres a lower quality compound than the prime? shouldn't it be the other way around. You should definitely not be faster on comforst softs in compare to sports hard and vice versa? Maybe im missing something here... Clarify please? Ofcourse I understand what your saying its just I always thought the prime tire was always slower than the option?

After a quick scan of the formula 1 website it turns out you are correct. It's funny how details can get jumbled sometimes. I will look to fix this in the morning. In the meantime, thank you for your input. 👍

Can it be a NSX Type R OR a S2000 LM Race Car? If not, then I can stay with NSX Type R on red on body and wheel colours.

What's the prize by winning the championship?

Second and third line of the OP

...This will be a series of 8 races using the
Honda Civic Type R '08....

Then why did you say the trim???

I'm going with red colour on body and trims.

What's the prize by winning the championship?

How did you NOT see it was the Civic Type R 08?! It doesn't take much to read through the thread properly, it's plastered all over with plenty of pics too!

And chill out about the prize, just do it for fun, and honour - there was no mention of a prize being available in any case!!

Because it said Type R Cup. So I metioned all cars (Accord, NSX...). But I also said S2000 because there's NGT/S2000 Hybrid.
