Because it said Type R Cup. So I metioned all cars (Accord, NSX...). But I also said S2000 because there's NGT/S2000 Hybrid.

Its also common courtessy to read a thread properly before deciding if you want to ask to join, before posting on said thread, if you can read that is.

Your not on the list yet as like a lot of folk he has a job, a family and can't be on this full time. It's taken a lot if time and effort to set this up, and probably not got round to it. And as for prizes, we do this for fun, good banter and fun on track, should be reward enough.

It is on my list of things to update. When I get chance to do so, around my other commitments.

Regarding the "NGTC/S2000 hybrid". This is a class of touring car used in the WTCC and BTCC. A NGTC (Next Generation Touring Car) specification engine producing around 330 bhp. On a "S2000 class" chassis. With "S2000 class" cars previously being used in WTCC and BTCC up until 2010.

I'm not Wikipedia or the FIA, so have likely misquoted something. If anyone would like to correct me. Please feel free. However the upgrade tree in the OP will remain as it is, flawed or otherwise.

@theewar mentioned there was some difficulty in sending the avatar picture over PSN but I've yet to confirm it. But however you can get it to me, all efforts are appreciated 👍

Looks like there will be a few "purple" cars on track (I went with the only Honda purple available, "Deep Violet Premium" from the insight '09)

As has been mentioned already you are a couple of months early. If you are interested you would be welcome to participate.
I only want people to be fully aware of the calendar well in advance. Which is why this thread has been posted well in advance. Plus it gives me time to get things adequately set up.

Not that I'll ever need one, I'm sure, but how do you create the driver profile pics / podium?

In photomode the default is driver and current car you are driving.
Unless you've managed to change it to car only. In which case you know more than I do.

Choose one of the 6 (I think) locations and take a shot of your driver Avatar.
Export that image to the PS3 X-media bar.
Copy the image from PS3 to flash drive.
Upload the image to a post on this thread
or
to an image hosting service. I use photobucket but others are available.
Then link it to a post here in the thread.
