The First practice session has finished and if it has shown me anything it is that the racing in this car will be up close and personal. There were a few moments where some got quite well acquainted with the concrete barriers that line portions of this track.

We had a total of 8 Drivers on track posting times, with GTP_Cpt_D being the current pace setter.

Tonight's practice lobby will be open a little later than last night's. As I have a 500pp club event that I will be hosting beforehand.

I hope to have tonights lobby open by 21:30BST. If you are online when I open the practice I will send you a message on PSN 👍

Last night's slightly later practice saw an improvement in a couple of times and a new pace setter in Weescotman. With one week to go until the race these times might yet fall further. Tonights practice lobby should be open at 20:30BST. If enough people show up I will run some comfort soft and perhaps pit stop races.
See you there.

With the first weekend of practice over a late entry to the board by SokaGT has pushed the best lap time down by nearly a full second. Theewar has also broken the back of the 36 second barrier.
With the tight turns and imposing concrete waiting to punish any errors this race will require some patience and planning to secure a win.

The next practice will be this coming Saturday evening. If I can fit one in on Friday as well I will post in the thread.
In the meantime you are welcome to arrange your own sessions.
See you Saturday.

Room is open for anyone wanting some track time? Any fast laps will be recorded and sent on to our hostess with the Erm mostest! Lol

All practicing for the first race is over. The final session showed many improvements in times and another change in pace setter. There were also other improvements which cant be recorded as they were done in free run and couldn't be recorded.

The amount of laps for tonights race has been decided.

Tonights timetable, barring no problems. Please be puctual.

And finally some rules. This will be a points scoring event. These should minimize disconnects.

Was great fun last night, you wouldn't believe how close I got to a certain persons time, lol sadly Gary had left, so guess I'll have to do it all over again tonight..... I wish! Haha catch you all later, this race is going to be awesome. Gentlemen start your ENGINES!!!!

Hi guys, sorry that I've been quiet on this thread, I was aiming to get some practice in and join for the race tonight, but unfortunately I've been rather ill over the past few days, suffering from an extreme alergic reaction (to something, doctor does not know what). I'm on a course or steroids but they aren't having any effect as yet So, it's unlikely I'll be able to make the race tonight, but I might try and join you to watch it if I'm feeling up to it.

Thanks for letting us know. Hopefully we will see you at Tokyo 👍

10 drivers took to the track and stayed the course. There were some problems during qualifying but the driver affected wore this well and powered through the pack. With all this said and done, the first race is over, and it falls to me to congratulate the first three to stand on the podium.
You've earned your places here tonight.

Here are the full results for the race

leaving the points table looking like this

It has been a couple of days since our first race, and before preparations begin for the second I have another date for your race calendars.

This event is being run in collaboration with The Sunday Cup and will have no effect on the points for the current Type R Cup.
This is an entirely optional event and will be using an endurance spec Lotus Evora and pairity matched Honda NSX-R largely based upon the spec of the Le Mans 1994 Kremer racing nsx GT2.

Drop by the Sunday Cup thread and have a look if this sounds like something you'd like to take part in by clicking the link on the date.

I'm working on sat night, so if anyone's about tonight I'll be running, or in someone else's room running the civic.

Looking forward to running some laps tonight. Ive had a very busy week, and only found some time last night to test the le mans cars with Gary, so it will be good to get some track time in the Civic.

The race last Sunday was a lot of fun. I decided to get the comfort soft tyres out of the way to start with, and enjoyed some super close racing with Capt_D and Canary for the first part of the race. After my pit stop, I spent the rest of the race trying to cut the distance down to the mid pack. I managed to get past Smiley, after he had changed to the comfort soft tyres, and my sports hard still had some life left in them. As the race got towards the final stages, I was closing in on GC, but my tyres were old, and his CS boots seemed much fresher. A couple of times, I nearly got past him, but ended up getting out of shape, and loosing ground to him again. In the end I was happy to finish just a second behind. Congrats to eveyone on the podium, and to GC for a great event.

The first times on the board for Tokyo R246 reverse have exceeded my original expectations from my trial sessions, putting this season together. It just goes to show the excellent caliber of drivers my humble series has attracted.

As usual, I expect these times to fall further as the competitive streak in us all starts to show. Although for some of you I can't imagine how you will do it. It won't stop me trying to match you 👍

Edit: I should add tonights room will be open around 20:30 BST. I will message you if you are online.
