So the group stage starts tonight, the English teams involved are Liverpool v Ludogorets on ITV and Dortmund v Arsenal on Sky, tomorrow its Chelsea v Schalke and Bayern Munich v Man City both on Sky..

What a goal by Immobile!

Edit: Wow, Real can't win in the league but 4-1 up at Half-Time Vs Basel

So it was Chelsea 1-1 Schalke and Bayern 1-0 City, and I think its fair to say that the English teams haven't got off to a great start...

Feels good to be back in the CL where we belong. Wasn't pretty against Ludogorets but got the three points and that will do. :)

Oh and Super Mario gets his first goal for us, really happy for him. :)

Man City v Roma on ITV and Sporting Lisbon v Chelsea tonight, oh and PSG v Barcelona!, no Ibra for PSG though....

Barcelona is losing already.

:)

Edit: No Totti No Party

Totti is absolutely amazing, this coming from a City fan. Italian players are definitely the most durable.

City 1-1 Roma, another bad result for City in the CL, i know Roma are a good team but City really should be winningthi home games and they only have one point from two games...

LUDOGORETS IS WINNING!!!

And CR7 failed to score a penalty kick...

OMAIGAAA!!!

edit: It's 1-1 now, after ANOTHER penalty awarded to Madrid... CR7 didn't fail this time...

Good to see Danny Welbeck get his first hat trick 👍. I was gutted to see him leave Man Utd but I reckon he can go on to show he is better than current strikers Man Utd have.

Welbeck becomes the 6th Englishman to score a hat trick in the Champions League after Mike Newell, Andrew Cole, Michael Owen, Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney but at this rate he has plenty of time for a 4th goal.

Brendan should put Lucas on, he was instrumental in Liverpool's last two champion league goals IIRC.

Shame Szczesny got himself sent off, probably would have increased chances of Danny scoring more if he didn't although he has had quite a few more chances after that.

Another mixed bag for the English teams, two teams winning, a draw and a defeat...

....another cool fact, last nights win for Bayern Munich means they become only the fourth team to get a 100 wins in the Champions League, the other three are Man United with 107, Barcelona with 109 and Real Madrid top with 117...

Very good win from the Arsenal, that formation is stunning going forward, well done dat guy.

Hate seeing Welbeck in the Arsenal shirt.

I said in a few years we'd see Welbeck getting hatricks for Arsenal and Falcao and RVP on crutches. Guess I was just a little off on the time frame for Welbeck.

CSKA Moscow ordered to play next three home European games behind closed doors, plus they cant sell away game tickets to their fans...PLUS fined 150,000 Euros for racial beheviour of their fans....

Looks like another crap season in the CL for Man City, drew with CSKA earlier after being 2-0 up at half time..

I still think they are capable of getting something against Bayern and I'd fancy them to beat Roma, they have never really had any luck with regards to their opponents at the group stage.

Chelsea just beat Maribor 6-0 at home, some BIG wins tonight!!
