YES! YES! Pippo PIPPO!!!!

Due a Zero Milan :sly:

Actually, this feels like a re-match of Germany vs. Italy.

Great to see Alan Smith on the pitch again. I'm glad he could score. Roma just got teabagged. It was like playing WE/PES on 2 stars.

I couldn't have been happier for him, it wasn't a late on when Roma were dead and buried goal either, it was goal number 2. 18 months thereabouts since he last scored a goal. He looked very confident in his play. He's not the most skillful player in the squad by a long shot, but he's a player I like a lot. you know whenever he's on the pitch he's going to give it his all for the entire game, and his attitude and desire is worth having in the squad.

Yeah, the fact that he broke his leg getting in the way of a free kick is pretty hardcore. I really admire his mentality and bravery. He has a heavy pair worth keeping around, and I think he's quite skilled anyway.

He has enough skill to be in squad, that's certain. But we have plenty of more skilled players than him. My point is jsut that what he lacks to them in skill, he makes up for in attitude and determination. Richardson on the hand hand has a good attitude, he gets about a lot too, but he doesn't have enough skill imo to be in our squad. Why Fergie picks him is beyond me, he's never looked great in a United shirt. when we loaned him to West Brom he was their player of the season. That was because he was surrounded by players worse than him. At Man U he's surrounded by players a lot better. Take Darren Fletcher for example, he's not upto the standards of most of the United players yet, but I do see something in Fletcher when he plays that tells me that with a bit more experience and bit more coaching and work he could be a worthwhile player. When I see Richardson on the other had, I just see effort with little to no end result. He'd be great for Fullham, Wigan, Manchester City ect. But not for the Man U's, Arsenals and Chelsea's of football.

So Dave, what do you think of the upcoming match against us? Do you know where it will be held first? I think the first leg will take place at Manchester iono.

But wherever it might be, I'm sure it's gonna be a hell of a game to watch 👍

Tuesday 24th Aprril, it's Manchester United v AC mila at old Trafford, then Wednesday 2nd May, it's AC Milan v Manchester United in Itlay.

It will hopefully be a fantastic game to watch, obviousely I wan't man U to win and to be the better side, but we don't have a fantastic history against Italian sides barring Tuesday night. It could go either way.

Hahaha, povero.

Why????????I'm very very sad
Perche Totti è un coglione, come io :sly:

Don't worry Stefano, Milan will revenge Roma on the 24th of April. At least they will try to do so....

Any predictings for the semi's? Mine are

1st leg: Liverpool 2 - 1 Chelsea Manchester United 3 - 1 AC Milan

2nd leg: Chelsea 3 - 2 Liverpool AC Milan 2 - 4 Manchester United

Chelsea and Man U in the Final in Athens.

I think it'll be Liverpool over Chelsea.

Only, if the Liverpool and Chelsea games go like you predicted, Liverpool will go through on away goals.

DUE A UNO MILAN!!! Molti grazie Kaka :sly:

EDIT: Ohh crap I shouldn't have said anything. :grumpy:, now it's tied.

Seriously, this sucks. I hate when a game is decided at the last minute.

Anyway, this means that, If Milan wins 1-0 at San Siro, they will pass to the final.

But if they draw, they go out. The ball is in Man U's court so to speak, we just need to not conceed more goals than we score in Milan.

Man U still need a goal or two to make it safe, sitting back (not that Fergie would do such a thing) could end up proving fatal if Milan so much as sneak it in the last minute after a long hard slog of a 0-0. So the ball is with Man Utd...but only just

Ofcourse Man U don't want to play for a draw, sitting back and letting players like Kaka come at you would be a bad idea. But a draw puts Man U through. We should also be stronger defensively by the time we play in Milan so I'm pretty hopefull Man U will go through.

Yeah, I saw the end of the Milan game at a sports bar where every other TV in the building had baseball and NFL draft news on. I was like HOLY CRAP OMG the whole time. I'm sure I got some looks. What a great game.

edit: Why does Liverpool suck at passing?

After they conceeded the goal they didn't do too bad, before Chelsea scroed though Chelsea were more attacking and opening Liverpool up down the center quite easilly. Thats the first goal Chelsea have scored against Liverpool in the Champions league. I think the next goal tonight could be the clincher. If Chelsea score another and the game ends 2-0 I can't see Liverpool winning 3-0 in the next leg. If it ends 1-1 then I think Liverpool will go through, breaking down a defensive Liverpool team at Anfield is not an easy task, even for a team like Chelsea.

So is Kaka the best player in the world?

One of them, not the best imo, but neither is Ronaldo. I'm undecided on who I think is the best, but it's neither of thoes two. Over the next couple of seasons though, either of them could well develop into the best in the world. Kaka played great in the first half, in the second half Milan ended up on the back foot, Ronaldo was dribbling well but kept finding himself out of space with 3 defenders around him and little scope to create anything from there. Imo Ronaldo is a more complete player as in he has a bit more to his game, he can do everything I've seen Kaka can do anyway. But I have to admit I haven't seen nearly as much of Kaka, and thats were it becomes hard to judge who is the best when you get in the company of such good players. You see, this season you watch Ronadlo and he's been great, you see him make a few bad moves or have a bad game and I know that thats out of the ordinary and he's be fine again the next match. If I was to see kaka have a bad game, that bad game will make up a much bigger percentage of what I've seen of him, because I've seen less of him than Ronaldo, so it'd probably be unfair for me to give a full and proper judgment.

Again, I haven't seen enough of Messi to agree or not, but what little of him I have seen has been impressive.
