I will laugh louder at that.(although the 7-1 vs Rome)
I really CANNOT wait for next week's match.

Technically, any part of your body you can play the ball with counts these days.HOLY CRAP. Kuyt's offsides was B.S. I thought they had to have feet offsides, not shoulders.
This is an utterly preposterous idea and a totally pointless piece. There is more chance of the next Cricket World Cup being a success than of this happening. But here goes anyway.
Italian affair: Andrei Shevchenko scored in an all Italian final in 2003
If Manchester United manage to see off AC Milan tonight, we will have an All-English Champions League final in Athens on May 23. Which means that around 70,000 people will be making their way from England to Greece at vast expense (you will faint if you look at the air fares) with huge amounts of hassle involving time off work, the inevitable scrummaging at airports, and the substantial security headaches that will be created. As if all that's not enough, there's also the future of the planet to consider.
Friends of the Earth estimate that if 40,000 fans go by air, travelling 4,800km, each one will be emitting 0.8 tonnes of CO2. By a very complicated formula that I don't understand but seems plausible enough, that means the entire annual CO2 emissions from a city the size of Bangor or Truro (and only fractionally smaller than Ripon) will be matched by supporters heading off to a game that could easily, and with a bit of imaginative thought, be played in this country.
Uefa could compensate the Greek FA and hoteliers in Athens for their lost revenue, by increasing ticket prices at Wembley accordingly. It would still mean substantial savings for all the fans concerned. And temperatures would not rise unnecessarily by another unseasonal degree or two.
It is of course absurd to suggest that such a move might happen in the next three weeks, but someone from Uefa might be reading this, and could perhaps give some thought to football taking a lead in an unusually statesman-like manner.

What about a clause in the Champions League regulations that says: 'In the event of both finalists coming from the same country, the match will be played at a neutral venue in that country. To help save the planet.'
Stranger things have happened. Although, admittedly, not many.
But shouldn't football realise that it's not always just about the blues and the reds. There should be room for some green as well.
