I'm knackered, havent really caught up yet, as had a hectic day at work.
Thanx go out to Milford and Famine and mini-milford and of course the animals for the loan of their facilities, and for a great weekend.

I'm sorry I broke things, and that I beat all of you......wait, that's not right.......

It was a lot of fun though, and I look forward to seeing some of the videos some time next christmas or something.

You lot are all good to be around, and well done for putting up with me for such a long time. I know Famine's patience had all gone by day three, but congrats to everyone else for persevering.

Oh and Roo, I was only joking about the milk.

:irked:👍

Thanks for a great weekend all, even if some of us did turn up a little late :guilty: Not sure I deserve the trophy, but it'll sure look great gathering dust in the shed for the next six months. No idea how I'm going to fill it with sweets though... :)

I've spent today trying to upload videos to youtube, but pinnacle videospin and youtube don't seem to be on talking terms at the minute.

Videospin converts the video to youtube format, uploads it and when it gets to 99% uploaded, it says error, failed. :banghead:

I look forward to seeing some of the videos some time next christmas or something.

:irked:👍
Well, err, Merry Christmas!

VEXD and Blacksheep in SUVs at El Capitan

Awesome!👍

That's a really good vid, some nice editing too there maan.
I didnt realise how many persuasive nudges I gave Sheep in that race.
Sorry about that sheep. Though one of them was purely altruistic. :sly:

I still can't believe I managed to miss you on lap 5 though. It almost loox like I drove right through the side of you on this video!

Thanx for that Daan. I look forward to more, next yuletide.
Is it me, or does the vid seem sped up slightly?

:mischievous:👍

Righty, finally got a bit of internet time -

Big thanks to Famine and especially Milford Cubicle for use of their house for three days and use of their back yard for two nights - hospitality as always was fantastic and very much appreciated.

Who'da thunk the back of a Fiesta would make such a great bed? And I assume that two layers of metal and glass was enough to protect VEXD from my snoring...

I can't remember any races in particular that haven't been mentioned already (SUVs, Pandas etc) but I did enjoy my small number of race wins, which to my knowledge were thrice at Laguna Seca (Clio Enduro, Spoon Fit and Range Stormer) and once at SSR5 in the Honda Odessey which put me into the showdown with VEXD in the Cosmo around Seattle Reverse, which was a great race and a big 👍 go to VEXD for great racing and for taking a deserved win.

Also, I seem to be getting a knack for the Clio in these Enduros, that makes two on the trot...

That was really fun to watch. Great to see competitive driving going around. Though few races are better than the Merc SLR vs. Audi R8 @Fuji of daan and I :D Still have fond memories of that race!

oh, and my Honda Beat S7 trampling at Suzuka

Yep, that was a good race, Diego 👍

This one is of me in the amemimyaema asparagus RX7

Great racing in the vid on the last page. BlackSheep did brilliantly, fully deserved his trophy. Any chance of getting the vid of me and VEXD at Seattle up? It's probably not as exciting as I rememeber it but it was a good close race.

I don't remember that RX-7 race. I only remember the race at SSR which was the other way. At what point on Sunday/Dutcho was this?

:D

who's in the orange RX-7?

I really have no idea. :sly:

As I recall, I chased Daan for two laps after having a massive battle getting through the field, but was unable to outdrive his smooooooooooooooooooooth style, and finished 4 tenths behind him as we crossed the line.

However, as I don't like to admit to actually losing a race on teh internets, I can't be certain that it was me in that race at all. In fact, I think I might have been otherwise engaged, crimping off a parmo at that precise 8 minute interval.

Top quality vids Daan, the difference between these and the Ocho replays is quite obvious.

I'd like to see the race between HFS and myself also. Because I won that one.

:irked:👍

Asparagus? I'm assuming you were in a green one then ;), and it looks like the rest of the field were driving RX-7 LM Race Cars too?
If you were leading like that in a 300HP JGTC vs 500HP LM Race Cars then you've gotten much, much faster since UKGTP7!!! :P
Having said that though, the other folks do look like they were doing a good job of taking themselves out of your way!

Maybe some tyre handicapping going on? Asparagusdrink RX7 on Soft tyres vs. more powerful LM RX-7 on Super Hards?

It was an RX7 of some description...

Like this?

's OK, I believe you! :D

Anyway, here's the race off between homeforsummer and VEXD in the something at some track or other.

Awesome! Even from both race and replay angles you can see how much of a 🤬 I was at the chicane at the start of lap 2!

Thanx Daan!

:irked:👍

That was some mean out-braking you did there though Home.
Not to mention consistently coming out of the last turn onto the straight with a greater exit speed. I must work on that course......

Nice, thanks Daan. And it's Mazda Cosmo at Seattle Reverse :P

Don't worry about the chicane thing VEXD, racing incident. We were 50/50 and neither of us backed off so we were both at fault really! I was pretty surprised I managed to outbrake you into that right-hander actually, though I see from the vid you did actually brake when the brake indicator started flashing wheras I braked a little later.

Really enjoyed that race though, you need to work that little Cosmo hard to get the best out of it and Seattle is a challenging course.

Final one for tonight.

This one is me racing VEXD, Famine and Venari in the Mitsubishi Stallion at Grand Valley East Reverse.

I just realised this morning that I am now the proud owner of a dark blue Reebok sweatshirt. Thank you very much :D

who's in the orange RX-7?

There were two, VEXD and me. I was the repeatedly crashing one as, for some reason, I just couldn't get 4 clean corners in a row out of the damn thing.

Would it be possible for a 10 year old to come to one of these events?
