Looks like we have some great up coming shows.

I prefer the F1 to the Veyron but no doubt the Veyron should win any kind of drag race if that is indeed how they will test the cars againts eachother.

F1 0-200mph = 28 seconds
Veyron 0-200mph = 22 seconds

This episode has been hilarious so far, Clarkson in the drifting Volvo and James May's bangin' Golf

I lol'd at The Stig sticking his head in the scanner in the background while they were making calls in the office

Ha, I loved that episode what a merge of awesome things. The 17 Year Old Car Challenge was great, loved James stereo  And I actually learnt something, I have no hope getting a decent first car for a reasonably price insurance!

You guys are not making it easy on me, being stuck at work and all.

Sounds like a corker of an episode. After last weeks disapointment, I'm really looking forward to this one.

;)

I'm absolutely irked I'm not having Top Gear coverage of the new season. Now I have to stick watching Top Gear on Mondays, and I'm not even sure what season it is. (Last week it was with a Range Rover vs a tank)

You can find some interesting stuff that would be suitable for a first car. Obviously insurance is ridiculous as you're a new driver insuring a potential killing machine.

I laughed so much at that!

Apparently, someone on the Top Gear website commented that there was a tooth-whitening kit on Richard's desk too!

This episode was far better than last weeks. Serious lol at the 17 Year Olds Car challenge and the F1 is just epic, still my favourite ever car.

Yeah a much better episode, good to see Jezza being as controversial as he can be again. I though the race between the Lambo and Merc was brilliant because I had no idea who would win and it was so close whereas with the Bugatti and McLaren race you always new the Bugatti would win. Looked like Hammond messed up his start though, if the Stig was in both the Bugatti would have led all the way even with it not being in V-Max mode.

I wish they'd spent the whole hour in Abu Dhabi. The SV and race segements were beyond epic and yet all too short (especially the latter).

Great episode, best I've seen in a long time. Picture of the Queen on May's table and another of Jezzas boyfriend made me lol.

Great episode, I liked it more than ep 1. The car for 17 year olds challenge was good fun, I personally would rock the Volvo :D.

I wholeheartedly agree, wonderful segments but they just seemed to rush by so quickly. The sound of the Lambo at full noise was something else though....

I was utterly let down by the F1 piece... It's like it was rushed and just jammed in there at the end as a filler piece. And besides, a drag race is not exactly a good comparison in this case, but even then, it just proves how advanced the F1 was for its time. 300+hp down on the Veyron, and yet only what, 3-4 car lengths behind after a mile? How many 16 year old cars can do that? How many month old cars can do that, period? Wonder what it would do at the track, though... I don't think it would be faster than the Veyron, but it would be fairly close. Probably closer to Enzo territory I believe.

And the teeny bit was absolutely hilarious. That's TopGear at its finest there. 👍

After the challenge was done and all the guys were talking, what clarkson did was utterly hilarious to me. The Veyron vs F1 drag race was cool, but I much prefer the Lambo's exhaust note.

I loved Jezza in the Volvo trying to get out of the field.
How about coming home late?

I truly believe them messing around with James is one of the best things they do on this show.

BTW; girl in blue.

The one in the red jumper to the left of Clarkson during the news was super cute, she reminds me of my ex a little bit.

The other girl looks less than impressed though, they should have swapped them round.

They both looked rather, err...young.

Agreed. What was proven again to me is that the Mclaren F1 remains the greatest supercar ever made. It has so much less power, yet it loses against the Veyron by a few metres. For a car that much older, I think it still proves how much better it is than most supercars. Yes, even the Veyron.
