I've got 2 TVs without a TV license. I could go down to Argos today and buy another one, they don't care whether I have a license or not, they just want the money. So I don't know where you got the first bit from. Pretty sure amazon don't do what you said either, or play.com, or currys.

And just so you know they send you a letter if they suspect you have been watching live Tele without one. And you are put under investigation. I haven't got one and I won't either BECAUSE I'M NOT BREAKING ANY LAWS.

Quite simply the law states the only, I repeat ONLY time you need a license is if you are going to watch live television. And if you don't, you are completely in the clear. It says all this on the website you were given a link to, so what your saying is still wrong. And you should probably read it if your going to say anymore.

So you have 2 TV's, and don't watch live TV on them?

Are you sure you haven't read information regarding the Botswana special in 2007?
Nope. James May was interview on radio a few weeks back about the Red Bull Stratos thingy, and he accidentally (on purpose?) let slip that he was halfway up a mountain in Africa.

-> I was wonder what was Clarkson driving...

Don't know the exact date, but I should think the "Christmas special" will be the first in the series:
[QUOTE="Pagey279"-From December 4th]Don't know if many people know about this yet but this years TG Christmas special won't be aired until February, and the next series will only be 6 episodes long including the Christmas special.
Found it in yesterdays Sunday Express:

Hi guys, if your looking for a Top Gear fix this Christmas then there a repeat of last years special in India on BBC3 at 7 tonight..

..Also, theres 3 special racing documentarys on BBC2 just after Christmas called Racing Stories, it starts Thursday i think, the first is about Sir Jackie Stewart, the Second is a special tribute to Colin Mcrae but i dont know what the third is about though!

Happy Christmas!!:)

Uh, pass.

They even aired that TG special on Dave a number of times today, I think.

I thought it was called Racing Legends.

First episode is on Thursday and focuses on Stirling Moss. The other two episodes are about Colin McRae and Sir Jackie Stewart on Friday and Saturday respectively, although some of the online TV guides suggest they're in the wrong order. I'm planning to watch all 3 so it's hardly a problem.

My Top Gear mag has just arrived in the post and it says that the new series will be starting on January 27th at 8pm 👍.

Matty - Long term subscriber perks :P Or my postie is on the ball for a change.

Reading the series review it has an outline of all of the big events and provided they are executed like they used to be (less staged) then it will be a brilliant series :D

I watched the dvd the other night..it was ok, but not brilliant, i dont know why Clarkson hasnt released his own dvd this year like he has done in the last few years?...

Correct me if I'm wrong but Hammond was in the US blowing up stuff in tanks, hence Clarkson's appearance in the TG Christmas DVD. I imagine a humorous DVD with May as the sole presenter probably wouldn't go down too well with the Beeb :sly: So chances are Clarkson didn't have enough time to jet out to some exotic location with a fleet of supercars :( Quite sad, I miss his semi-serious non-TopGear work.

I miss his non-TG stuff as well..he has made some good dvds in the last few years..

I'm sure if you turn on your TV to BBC you'll see the commercial. Or I'm sure if you search elsewhere on YouTube someone else has posted it.

Have TG decided to expand on "The Interceptors"? The characters from the joke intro popped up quite a few times during that trailer.
