Indeed, hopefully they'll at least go back to a winter series and summer series even if there is only 6 or 7 in each. So hopefully back in about June for seven episodes then another seven in January, plus a Christmas special. I can live with that.
 
Booo the show just started. I hate these half season than huge breaks. Top gear is definitely the worst since they put out a few episodes than just stop. I think it's probably because the show will be canceled soon as sad as it sounds. The guys are old and make so much money. I'm sure they don't want to continue it much longer.

Yeah that sucks if that happens. So long to my favorite show if it does.

You do know these episodes are astonishingly expensive to make,I agree they should air more episodes but I guess the budget was over.

It usually depends if they're doing another season not too long after. They've already confirmed we're getting another season in the summer which isn't that far off despite the what the weather looks like. The longer seasons usual come before a longer break. You have to remember as well that all 3 of the presenters have other jobs writing and filming so they also have to fit in with that as well as balance their work, private and social lives too. I'd love every season to be 10 episodes but it's not going to happen.

They have other jobs because of this show. I'm sure this show is first priority. As long as a new one is coming in the summer than its not too bad. More like a break than a new season.
 
So in the last few issues of Topgear mag its says that Topgear will be back for a new series in June?

If thats correct then it should only be a few weeks away..
 
Is it possible to buy or watch online all of the Top Gear specials as they were originally shown on TV? I've seen box sets but the reviews say that they have been edited.
 
Not that i'm aware of. Most of the box-sets have been heavily edited from what I can tell.

I believe they haven't been all that edited on Netflix. The music is different at times but everything appears to be the same.

Thanks. I still have my Netflix account running (haven't used it for months). I really want to see the polar special again.
 
The TG crew were spotted filming an episode segment for the next series at Gibraltar airport earlier today. One presenter seems to have created a special corner all to himself.
