Looking from the front at the 3rd grouping of cars, the 3rd row from the left (2nd from right), there is a Lotus Evora & I believe an Elise and Exige behind it are in the final shots. I think there also may be an orange TVR Sagaris/T350 behind the hearse.

There was one part in the final segment that made me think "Seriously? WTF?"

James was narrating and said "In this map of the world all the countries highlighted in red, use military vehicles made in Britain" Yet Britain itself wasn't highlighted, so the UK builds military vehicles for other countries to use and doesn't use any of it for itself?

It was the same joke as France not watching British motoring shows.

Judging by Jezza's Twitter account, he wasn't too pleased about "Das Auto" following the Top Gear finale.

I don't see why having that afterwards should undermine Top Gear's segment. But of course all the racists have turned up on Twitter making Nazi jokes. The shows are talking about separate things; Top Gear's segment was about cars that are built here (Many of which shown were not British designs), but Das Auto is about the cars they design and build themselves. It's common knowledge that German cars are vastly superior to British ones anyway. :sly:

Most of that was filmed within 10 miles of my house!

Same here, if I look out my bedroom window and I can see Westbury White Horse :D

Great episode, the bus segment could have been a little shorter to allow more time for the last part. But hey ho.

Also I've been to the Rolls Royce factory and I've never felt so poor and out of place

That was the best part lol. He drew it and it looked so funny than the guy looked so similar lol. Said it's fun for the whole family since you can draw his face on your thumb too.

I suppose it was funny if you're into puerile humour. I personally found it a complete waste of time, especially when they then crammed that last part into the last 15 minutes. Should have been the main part of the show.

Oh,need to view it again then, they really should have made this segment much longer.

Surprised they didn't review the V8 F-type ,maybe because of it's outrageous price

Really enjoyed the episode, thought that Hammonds test of the Range Rover Sport was the best test he has done in a while, I thought Mays bus test was weird, Webber was awesome as a guest and he beat Seb!

...and the best of British segment was fantastic and a great way to end the series but I think the German docu spoiled it somewhat, it kind of contradicted it...

Marvelous episode. It calms the doubts I was having troughout the season. Do they guys still have it? Is the Top Gear formula getting stale after 20 sesons? Has the Stig punched a horse to the ground? The answers are Yes, No, and No because he's married to a horse lover.

The review of the Range Rover Sport was good. I loved the cheeky remarks about the vulgarity of the new riches, I loved how he took the Rangey to where it's supposed to be, and I still can't believe the way that thing goes around corners. The Double-decker test was funny yet serious in a very James May fashion and the comments about public transportation he made were the icing on the cake. Mark, as always, a great sport, awesome chap. The F-Type: Gorgeous.

The last segment is, together with the one of the Aston V12 Vantage without any commentary, one of the best season finales they've made. It NEARLY brought a tear to my eye and made me think "God, I have to become a motorsport engineer in Britain...".

All in all, a season with it's ups and downs but with an awesomely redeeming last episode that makes me think TG could just go on, and on, and on forever.

That Range Rover Sport was awesome, I don't see why anyone would buy the main Range Rover now, that car seems so good.

I just hope they get to the Golf GTI VII in Series 21, its about the only thing missing in series 20 (oh and maybe the Cayman S in the Porsche bit).

I enjoyed the episode.
The bus bit seemed like a filler though.
I don't like the stigma attached to RR's but this new one looks capable.
I liked the bit at the end showcasing everything in motoring britain builds.
Jag F-type looks so de ja vu and blimey it's expensive!
Merc,BMW and Audi were doing cars like the F-type 5-8 years ago too.
Also the F-type looks like the '14 corvette, merc SLS and fezza FF in 1,not very original to my eye but still great looking and a great sounding V6 if a little artificial.

Very good episode. I mean really, really good.
The season 20 started a bit rough and started to improve until the end.
I always liked the RR Sport (british) but now it is even more fantastic and for £20k less than a standard RR, deal of the century (almost)
The bus (british) part was somewhat boring but still enjoyable. And he really dorve like a bus driver on that track.
That F-Type  (british) is gorgeous. I don't care if it looks like any other car, anything about it is fantastic and it is one of the cars I anticipated the most. And that soundtrack made my pants ruined. Give me a coupe one and I'm happy as hell.
The final segment made me realize how good Britain is (regarding mechanical stuff) and made an all british episode (well, almost, but Webber lives in Britain anyway)

Given that most of you watch the SIARPC interview focused on the audience, anyone else notice Mitch Evans behind Jeremy Clarkson? I was hoping for him to get a chance at a lap as well.

Thought you might be interested to know I saw Clarkson and Hammond in Monaco last Sunday filming for next series. Clarkson in a Veyron Super Sport Spider and Hammond in an Aventador LP640 spider. They were doing laps of the Monaco f1 track (was full of normal traffic though obviously).

Aventador vs Veyron Grand Sport vs Mitsubishi i?

A Mitsubishi iMiev vs supercars? My guess is that it's another classic Top Gear challenge, comparing electric cars against these thirsty masterpieces.

Started shooting already?,interesting guessing a new season by christmas or early new year is a possiblity.

Since 2010 it's been June/January for the series so yeah, I'd expect January again for the next series. Hopefully kicked off with an epic Christmas Special.

Thing is, what's going to annoy me is that they're filming the new series now in August around 4 months before December. They have plenty of time to film a good series of around 10 episodes.

But it'll just be another 6 episode series which will include an Xmas special. :grumpy:

It's not unusual to film two series/movies as close as possible. Helps you retain as many of the crew as possible.
