Absolutely died with laughter at the caravan segment, the rest wasn't so bad either which was rather surprising.

That Lamborghini looked amazing. Stig almost flipped in the caravan was crazy. The total demolition of the caravan when driving was pretty funny. I didn't think it would explode like that.

Best of the season. Actually surprising and informative! Didn't know about the knock-off 911, or nearly so much about the Sexto Elemento (though we could've just left it with 5 and Milla :)) Caravan was yes funny but could've been just a tad bit more practical/informative. SIARPC just made me wish we had gotten Liv, and was the weakest segment...

Also quite enjoyed it. The joke about recycling was a bit odd because only people that do it would find it funny. The dogging bit with them thinking they saw Stan Collymore was funny and I enjoyed the car parts.

Skipped the SIARPC section as usual, can't remember the last time they had a guest I was interested in.

Oh I also liked that they acknowledged things are getting a bit stale comparing it to the 911, hopefully that means they start mixing things up in future.

I enjoyed last night's episode, although I am more than a bit disappointed to discover that the scene when the wheel came off the caravan on the Top Gear test track was infact not faked. Over the years, loyal viewers like myself have come to expect nothing less than the highest standards of fakery and scripted scenes from the Top Gear team, and so to find out that some of it (and I fear this may be the tip of the iceberg) is infact unscripted and unrehearsed is quite a shock. Anyway, I'm writing a letter to the producers and have assembled some evidence into a blog post which I intend to submit to the Daily Mail, the Telegraph, and the Independent later today in order to stir up some much needed outrage. Meanwhile, I urge all viewers to be vigilant and to look out for any more incidences of 'faked fakery' in this otherwise entertaining series.

It wasn't faked  wooaahhhh
anyway enjoyed this one alot manly because it featured the Singer and the Sesto (2 of my favorite modern cars)
I enjoy Hammond's reviews when he is put in Lambos or Paganis to be honest.
James's Porsche segment was good (surprised he didn't mention the PDK)
News segment was one of the best recently but the SIARPC was boring.
Caravan bit was better than I expected and it was hilarious

one of the better episodes recently 👍

Didn't you see the wheel wobbling a lot before coming off? Of course it wasn't faked otherwise it would just come off.

Thought they would have loosened it up before.

Surprised the Captiva was the most expensive in that car range,it is a very good car though.

I've been thinking about the people who are outraged now they've found out that Top Gear is faked. Are they the same people who were shocked when they found out X Factor was staged?

Enjoyed the episode, thought the Lamborghini and Porsche Singer segments were strong, Steven Tyler was meh with a rubbish lap and the caravan part was a lot like the Hovervan part last week, stupid, ridiculous fun!

I have known Top Gear was faked a lot for a long time. It's just the wheel falling off seemed more natural. Especially as it was fine until the Hammerhead.

Who is outraged? Top gear has been scripted since forever,it got more and more scripted with the last seasons but nothing surprising.

That was easily the best episode so far this season, that Sesto Elemento had me drooling. I suppose they couldn't get Jezza to do it, because he wouldn't fit.

Please PD, put the Sesto into GT6!

I agree with you. It was the best of the season so far. It was a bit more natural that had been. I loved that Sesto... I need one as much as my next breath (only thing stopping is the money and it's not road legal)

The people who complained to the BBC after the Hovervan episode.

These people shouldn't be allowed to watch Top Gear.

Of course, if these "faked"/rehearsed scenes were actually real, these people would probably be the first to complain about how reckless their behaviour was!

It shouldn't really matter if some parts of the show are staged/faked as long as it makes for good tv and the viewers like it...

I enjoyed that episode, probably one of the best ones of the season along with the Spain one IMO.

The caravan segment was excellent, its was a fine balance between being serious and messing around and it reminded me so much of the Top Gear of old. I like that they did kinda review and critique the cars. The stereotyping of 'Caravanists' was quite amusing and the race was cool to watch, its quite surprising how capable these soft-roaders were taking so much abuse.

I seriously hope the fact the Mazda didn't stop was because they turned off the collision avoidance system for comic relief, because that's really worrying if they didn't.

I hate Porsche for the same reasons as Jeremy but I did like the segment, that Singer is amazing but it would better to buy a decent nick original and do it up for the money.

The Lambo was great but I was pretty sure it was a concept which is not possible to buy, it they are actually selling the thing that's insane! I would rather have the convertible Aventador (well 10 of them) instead, it looks better.

According to the Sesto's Wikipedia page, all 20 have been sold, but it's not road-legal.

Mark Webber has just tweeted 'Topgear today...enjoyed it, shown on BBC Sunday' with a picture of where they sit to do the news and SIARPC, hasn't he been on before?!

He was when he was at Williams.

Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton were also on twice.

Interested to See Mark and the Liana back.

Last episode of the previous season was fantastic hope we get more of the same but man Top Gear seasons fly past.
