Uncharted 3: Multi-player BETA begins on Tuesday 28th of June for PSN+(plus) members and for Infamous 2 early access vouchers.

When can I start playing?
Tuesday, June 28, for all Infamous 2 and current PlayStation Plus members, who all get early access to the Beta.

If you’re not an owner of Infamous 2 or a current PlayStation Plus member, we’re opening the floodgates to the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta for EVERYONE on Monday, July 4.

What time EXACTLY can I start playing?
We don’t have an exact time for when the Beta will be available for download from the PSN Stores – keep an eye out on the Naughty Dog Twitter and we’ll update as soon as we know it’s gone live.

Is the Beta available in my region/country?
The Beta will be available in all current PSN Store regions, including Korea – except in Japan and the remaining SCE Asia stores.

When does the Beta end?
The Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta will end on Wednesday, July 13.

What modes and maps are available?
Throughout the three weeks of the Beta, we’ll be rotating through a variety competitive and co-op gametypes, along with access to three different maps.

June 28 to July 4
Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, Plunder, Three Team Deathmatch, Co-op Arena
Maps: Airstrip, Chateau

June 4 to July 8
Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Team Objective, Co-op Hunter
Maps: Airstrip, Chateau

June 9 to July 13

Gametypes: Team Deathmatch, Three Team Deathmatch, Co-op Adventure
Maps: Airstrip, Yemen

Can I play in Stereoscopic 3D and/or use split-screen?
YES! Yes, you can. But not at the same time.

Can I see my Facebook Friends list?
Yes, all of your Facebook Friends that have linked their Facebook account via their PS3 will appear on the Facebook Friends list in our multiplayer menu. Feel free to send them an invite to play the Uncharted 3 Beta!

Can I upload videos and photos to Facebook or YouTube?
No, that functionality is not available during the Beta.

Will my Beta progress or unlocks carry over to the final game?
No, what happens in the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta stays in the Beta, however we’ve lined up some killer rewards for the retail version of Uncharted 3 if you keep playing in the Beta:

This game looks good, but I'm not sure. I loved the campaign in the second one, but multiplayer was really average. I might download the multiplayer beta and see if if it's any good...But if it's the same kind of thing then I'll give it a miss.

I played the beta, the graphics were amazing as expected but as it's the first public beta it was rather buggy. Froze after 5 minutes (but it was a fun 5 minutes ) Apparently 1.01 is out now. I may try it one more time and then wait for November 11. Multiplayer isn't a huge draw for me though.

Update helped enormously. Played 10 matches after the update and not a bit of lag or freezing. Fun game so far. Won't be buying it for the MP though anyway, thats what BF3 is for.

Love the series, next to GT5, UC2 is my favourite PS3 game, and the beta is pretty good, I just wish the camera rotation was slightly faster, it feels slower than UC2.

The Beta does the same thing to my console. It does it when I quit SuperCar Challenge as well, not sure why.

GT5 has spoiled me, I can notice so clearly that this game has lots of jaggies around the people especially. 720p doesn't do it for me anymore on my 1080p TV.

Is there multiplayer split-screen? I saw somewhere something like "controller 2 press start to sign in." Haven't had the chance to try it yet, and now I can't remember where I saw that. It would make sense, considering the graphics seem a bit weaker in certain areas compared to U2. Though I'm sure story is still single player only.

Kinda reminds me of how Killzone 3's graphics were considerably worse in story compared to KZ2, while the visuals in online were more amazing than ever.

Naughtydog has promised to all players that they can participate in the BETA on July 4th, for us in Tuesday 5th.

Super super fun so far - it's very addicting

I've found a few bugs with the AI on co-op, but other than that it is smooth as ice

Are you saying it's not fun because of one big where you didn't respawn in a beta.... There are many finished AAA games where that happens.

Oh, its great. I'm only let down by the point that I can't submit the bug to the UC forums, because it won't let me log in (URL extension missing keeps on popping up, even though I have it there.)

Sniper's are beginning to annoy me now. I was having some great matches last night, until I got into a lobby where more than half of the other team were sniping. It's not very fun when the whole enemy team is hiding, waiting for someone to pop into their sight lines.

Really enjoying the Uncharted 3 beta since it launched a few days back for PSN Plus, love how fluid the character movement is and jumping, rolling climbing is very seamless.

It will be even better now that its gone public and I think the dev's said they would try out different maps over the testing period so we might even get some new gameplay.
