Did the scripts get you? Did you fall

asleep with your face on your controller? Or was this an alcohol induced, black-out-drunk impulse purchase? šŸ§
Wish it was.or something like destracted with a high class escort and a few hrams of... I actually started falling asleep play stardew Valley for a laugh on the xbox. Woke up a few mins later, noted script running on pc as expected and retired to bed for the evening. Exciting story I know ;)

Back up to 32 mill after running it for half tge day yesterday... the saga continues.

People who say you get the lowest prize are lying . I have gotten an enzo , a veyron , a few GR3 , SIX 1 million prizes , four half a millions , and a bunch of 30k's , Iv done the glitch about 150 times since i have a ps4 . The trix is to find a car that pays out and to restart your game every 10 spins or so as then the game starts randomizing crap rewards.
This is interesting. I figured out that some cars get better prizes than others but I didn't sure at all. What cars do you think get better prizes?

Of course people don't get the lowest prize every time, but most of the time by a long shot.

I haven't noticed my first 10 spins provide better prizes than the following spins, it just tends to go through a productive spell every now and then between the cheap parts and the 10k prizes it chucks at me most of the time. But that's expected.

Nor have I noticed over lengthy periods that changing the selected car has had any bearing on the consistency of prizes I've won. I feel this is potentially a gamblers fallacy, like having a good luck charm because you won when you had it on you. It could be tested though if enough people were willing to try.

I have the script running on slow, if I leave it unattended it nets me approximately a million an hour. I could do it faster manuially, but I have work and life to attend to. Sometimes I get 50k in an hour, sometimes I get 3m, but it's rarely the first 10 spins that are most productive.

Again, exploiting an unintentional bug that gives you a gross advantage online (such as being able to give yourself a massive horsepower boost) is not the same as giving yourself more in game content through an oversight.

No game rule is being broken, no one is disadvantaged, no harm ergo no foul
I agree, BUT if they see the entire point of the game as collecting cars and car parts, and grinding to be able to brag to your friends about having things they don't have, then using this glitch would basically be cheating. The makers of other driving games have sometimes appeared to take that view, banning people for using glitches to increase the amount of in-game content they can get, but not banning people for behaviour such as ramming to unfairly win races. So while we might want the game to be about racing and driving skills, the makers of games can see things differently and be more concerned about people unfairly obtaining more content than other people.

I am really sick and tired of getting Corvette and Lexus engines. Give me a Porsche engine so I can make an tollolo beetle.
This is why there needs to be trading in the game. I have 5 of the M64/03 - 911 engines. I should be able to trade those to others who may have multiples of something I want but don't have.

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong but for the 4 star ticket I am 99% of the time getting the worst item or the lowest amount of money

For the 6 star ticket I have enough Mazda RX-7 engines to supply North America.
I got 30k, 10k and 5k all day yesterday and saturday bar a couple 500k and 1 million. Funny how when there is 4 good tickets annd 1 crap 1 i kept getting the crap one. This glitch has shown up PDI's thought process even more than it already did. Why didnt they just make it random or spare me the theatrics.

I've noticed that I seem to get the 500k bars more frequently when I have under 10 million. When I go over 10 mil, I only seem to get the wheels with 10 and 30k.

One thing you may also want to add that I put in my script, when your garage loads, if you sit at that screen for too long, then the camera goes to the panning around the car view. Once the camera is in this mode, it will eat one of your button clicks to get back to where you can select "gifts". If you toss a "down" button press in right before you call out the right select selection, if you were in this mode it will take you out. There isn't anything to select with the down button at this menu screen, so it doesn't hurt to call it out.

I seem to be averaging around 1m in credits from the tickets in a hour. I worked out that the script that I have runs the whole process in slightly under 2 minutes, therefore averaging 30 4 star tickets and 30 engine tickets per a hour. The first car that I was on in my garage was the Tomahawk X road car, now I'm using the GTR 500 08, and today I got the most expensive Ferrari FXX K 14 from BC on the 4 star ticket. I couldn't believe it šŸ˜€

I agree, the additional "down" click is very useful for stability

Again, you have to be cheating someone other than yourself.

The engines, tickets, and special parts, are not for sale. Ergo, Sony is not losing money, nor is the game economy truly affected much. It's completely random (according to them). So, if you have an engine, or special parts, you could have more than others through chance alone. That's still the case.

AND... The most important part... This has increased the installation base and returned interest to the game.

Compare the amount of people on this board that complain about the lack of content (such as not being able to race an American or Asian car at the Nurburgring) to the person(s) who complain about this bug.

Nothing will happen, and if it does, I sure had some fun.

A similar thing happened with GT5. Quite a few people rolled back their updates to allow for the game mods.

Edit - I forgot to reiterate, they could have released a hotfix but haven't. That says it all.

1. When you all refer to Scripts are you talking about Gran Turismo 7 on the PC? I'm on PS5 so I guess I'm unable to use such scripts

2. Going back to your menu to open a collection to look at your cars and to reread the history of those cars is nothing nefarious. I can't imagine getting in trouble for doing that.

PS4 here. I downloaded PS Remote Play on my PC, loaded up the scrip and off I went. Not sure about PS5, but I can't imagine it wouldn't work. I finally got my script working well too, 19 hours, no glitches. $50M+, 100 of all engines, 110+ cars I think.

In the early pages of this thread there is a script with instructions.

It works with remote play from your PC to your PS4/5

It's using a PC to connect to the PS4 remotely, so it's not a PC version of GT7, it's the PlaySation Remote Play app.Download that, download AutoHotkey and then create a new AFK file with the script pasted into it and away you go. It's faster to do it manually, but less tiring to use the script, and you can leave it running whilst doing other things of course.

Yes, this isn't some kind of zero sum exploit.

Can't effect people online, maybe marginal edge if it's a non BoP race and person Has access to more parts. But that's if players almost identical in skill levels, they both run perfect races. Ultimately, this doesn't improve you as a driver, unless this reignites your interst and yiu suddenly put loads of time into it, but still, that's not a direct edge as such.

I also 100% agree with Voodoovaj. The ticket system and hiding parts behind a random number generator was a terrible idea. I am 100% solo player racer who will never ever race online. Why should I not have access, or at the very least, a method to obtain the special parts for the cars I like to drive? I was totally fine with the level system to buy certain parts. With the number of tickets I have pulled, even if I got a 4, 5, or 6 star parts ticket EVERY day, it would still take me over 6 YEARS to get where I'm at now. I'm going to pull as many tickets as I can for as long as I can until they stop me. My hope is they review the whole ticket system and abandon it as some gatekeeper for content that we all paid for.

About 3 weeks back Diablo Immortal had the lowest user score ever on metacritic with a 0.5
These are the current lowest 3, all 0.5 or lower.

Oh, for reference, here's Gran Turismo 7, one page back.

Did Sony/PD ever acknowledge there is a glitch? I don't think so... we, the users, are the only ones calling it a glitch. Until Sony/PD officially say so, this is not a glitch, it's a feature...

Hey, good point!!!

I like this new feature introduced by PD.... Actually I'm thinking about increasing my metacritic review score, because of this new innovative player pleasing feature.

Exactly. They havenā€™t said a single word about this. Even released a new ā€œKnown Issuesā€ a few days after this was common knowledge amongst GT7 players and no mention of it. Thatā€™s why a few days back I began thinking this was either intentional on their part or an issue theyā€™re obviously aware of but not interested or concerned with fixing because if they wanted to they couldā€™ve had this patched within 24-48 hours tops.
