I'm liking the modifications to the latest version!👍

My favourite bits are still the account icons for some reason, they are EXACTLY how I'd do them if I was making some!!! For the 3 people (If you're lucky) that would use it, any chance of a Welsh icon?

Might I recommend everyone use a download site such as rapid share, etc, to host the actual p3t file? It makes downloading themes significantly easier, as you don't have to mess with anything other than the PS3. Simply open the browser and download from there. It's much much easier.

No, some people asked me that and I'm planning to port it over to the PSP, i just need to get the tools first =P

Ah. I was just curious because I just got a PSP and it looked excellent on it when I did Remote Play.

I won't rush you on that as the PSP is not getting near the usage my PS3 does.

Someone here with the GT5P game yet? i saw some new icons in the menu of the game and i want to use those to update my theme, if you guys could take a screenshot or something of them, would be nice!


and I'm currently working on new backgrounds now... thinking evo-x/gtr/r8 using the same "base" kinda so i can produce different ones because otherwise it takes a huge amount of time to come up with really classy looking ones

Anybody who's any good with recording audio too? i wanna try to get the sound of the ingame gt5p demo menu when you navigate and the one when you click on something, would be totally kickass

- Changed the XMB video icon to the icon of replays from GT5 Prologue
- Changed the XMB network icon to the dealer icon from GT5 Prologue
- Changed the thumbnails video/images icons to something better looking
- Changed the download icon yet again (I'm still not happy with it)
- Added various new account image (I'll do them on requests from now)
- Added a new background for the Audi R8 (both with and without logos at the bottom)
- Added a new background for the Lancer Evolution X (both with and without logos at the bottom)
- Added a new background for the Nissan GTR (both with and without logos at the bottom)
- Added the selected sound from GT5 Prologue
- Added the icon switch sound from GT5 Prologue
- Fixed the theme settings icon (the inner part was just not aligned enough for my taste )


This is my goal for the v1.1.0 but i need some help recording the sounds from the menus if anyone can help me with that, as stated in the previous post... would be GREAT!

So, anyone here with a "decent" microphone to record the sound from their tv? i just need three the "switch" the "clicked" and then "going back" in .wav format or whatever format you want (just need to put the the BGM music on 0 and record it) i already know how to put everything into the theme file i just need the resource!

Edit, i check the gamersyde gt5p interface video and the gt5p demos, thanks they're both the same... do you have the GT5P demo? (please say yes)


just need to go in options and put the BGM on off on the three different ones and record the three sounds and i'll do all the cutting and crap myself, just need a few seconds between each of them (i can't do them with my pc coz first my microphone kinda sucks, second my pc does this fan sound and when i get the bgm music off i think people will hear it coz my pc is next to my tv/PS3)


tell me if you can do it!


i need the switch sound (example: Showroom -> GTTV)
the clicking sound (press x on GTTV)
the cancel sound (press o on GTTV)

and that's it

I have the GT5P Demo, however I don't have a microphone, I have a video feature on my camera which also records sound, but I can't guarantee it would be perfect.

I get this when i try to re-name the folder, as <> these two symbols are not allowed under Windows XP folder/file naming...

don't rename anything, it's already in folders for you as in <USB_ROOT> means the base of the usb key, it's not a folder or anything.


just copy the PS3 folder on your key and it's done. that's it

Yes silly me, i posted the messege saying it was not working, then go up to the PS3 and there it is working

It is incredible, i cannot imagine how long this took you. I saw this thread when it first started but now i am taking things more serious because as we all know GT5 Prologue is amongst us. I hope to have my copy soon from Yes-Asia although accept delivery could take a while.

So thanks for background, and hope to see you racing on GT5 (although Prologue will not allow us online ). I will add you on the PSN now.

Edit: I understand now, all i had to do was copy the folder (PS3 + Theme), change the file name of the file in these folders (the theme) to USB_ROOT PS3THEMEalbaGT5.p3t and set as theme from the PS3. Again thanks for the theme, it is impressive and i cannot wait to play GT5!

What? How is that possible? I am a UK PS3 machine (well not me!) and will have a Japanese GT5 Prologue. I was under the impression the servers from Japan would not work here, i thought that was the right thing to 'assume'.

But for this i would need something? A Japanese account maybe (which i have as i had to set one up to download GT5 Prologue of the Prologue (demo)?

You should technically be able to race online using the Japanese account until we get our game. Atleast thats how I see it. I wouldn't say 100% Yes now, as I forgot about the fact most people aren't on Japanese servers.

It should work on Japanese servers by you using your Japanese account. Anyway, good luck!

Ok guys, i've got the sounds done from TTP (the guys who did the videos for gamersyde) I'm converting the files now and i'll test everything, woot!


EDIT: just finished editing the sounds to make the timing and so perfect, converted them... I just need to compile my theme and test it out now

Alright, i'm all done, everything works perfectly the only thing i need to finish now are the two new backgrounds in both HD/SD and i can just release it! (half done with the R8 one)
